Hosea is read at the time of the head of the year known as Rosh Hoshana and The Feast of Trumpets (Tishri 1, 2). The Jewish Civil year begins with a message for today’s church that is considered a whore.
14:1 Shomron will bear her guilt…. there is no changing the judgment, yet there will be a way to RETURN.
14:2 RETURN – Guilt made you stumble.
What is the church guilty of? Leaving God’s righteous ways. Leaving Torah.
Lust: Traditions of men
14:4 made things with their hands and give honor to it.
Punishment: Cease multiplying; Loss of life; mothers, babies, children dying.
The Christian church brings Christ as its sacrifice, patterning the Israelites first fruits, bulls and calves.
The Israelites said words just as Christians say words.
What are man’s words worth?
How sincere are we when talking to The Creator who made us?
Offering ourselves to God in saying ‘a prayer’; is that enough?
What is sin? Hosea 14:5 DISLOYALTY
Sin is not aligning with God’s ways. Sacrifice can never trump repentance.
What is repentance? What is a contrite heart? What is a circumcised heart?
Repentance has action…. turning away from active sin.
Repentance should actively define current sin and past sin.
In defining past sin, we are even asking forgiveness for our past generations sin in our family; and even the sins that our nation has or is currently participating in.
Healing is described as: Dew, blossoming, roots, spreading branches, olive trees beauty, shade, grain, aroma, cypress tree, fruitful, tree of life.
We become ‘fatherless’ without God’s ways. We are called orphans. We have no place in eternity without a circumcised heart that actively turns away from SIN. Thinking about turning from sin or even saying a prayer will not good enough to enter the Kingdom of God.
Psa 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
Psa 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
Yes, we will miss eternity if we stay in our sin. We are to repent and claim Yeshua’s (Jesus) blood daily.
The visual sacrifice of The Seed came at 4000 years. All humanity is still saved by two things: Obedience to the instructions of The Father and a belief in The Sacrifice. But this sounds likes works to Christians. What did Hosea think?
Cain was selfish in thinking he did the hard work to get his garden to grow. Able knew he had no effort in giving life to an animal, as even The Creator fed it. The example of ‘first fruits’ had to be an established pattern from the beginning with Adam’s generation. Examples of first fruits (our best) will remain until ‘the last’ generation.
No one can save themselves except by the perfect offering. The best sacrifice has always been provided by The Father. The best cattle, the best sheep, the best doves were provided by The Father. The best crops are provided by The Father. After 4000 years of ‘the best’ given back to ‘The Giver’, the full picture of redemption showed up as a ‘sacrifice’, instead of the anticipated ‘king’.
In the Original Writings (OT), their sacrifices pointed to what was going to happen at 4000 years from those first instructions given to Adam. The OT writings should not be considered as antiquated.
We should remember that there is nothing said by even Yeshua Jesus that was not first said by The Father. Yeshua always counseled with The Father before speaking. John spoke to Yeshua who was in The Heavens. Stephen talked to Yeshua who was in The Heavens upon his stoning. Paul spoke to Yeshua who was in The Heavens. Paul never walked with Yeshua but heard his words when others did not. All these men obeyed The Torah first. Yeshua (Jesus) could not violate God’s instructions in one point, or he would have been disqualified from being, The Messiah.
Humans are seen as trees. Trees are to produce fruit designed to give life. Trees are to resurrect (grow). If trees don’t produce timely fruit, they are cut down or they wither.
If we are to ‘resurrect’ to glory, we need to be a holy (set apart) people. We cannot live in sin and expect The Father to accept our tradition of ‘salvation’. The Creator has set a two-fold standard before us to enjoy Heaven’s glory.
The Gan of Eden began with seeds producing after their own kind. Adam saw The Tree of Life and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. We all have free will giving us free choice to choose good or evil.
Noach was raised up on wood showing us, The Seed. If Adam’s generation, Noah’s generation and Abraham’s generations had not gone through their life experiences, our world might lack the ability to see the patterns connecting The Father’s plan of Eternal Spiritual Resurrection.
The Father of all Creation is HOLY HOLY HOLY! There is none like Him. How can we ever stand before such holiness? It will take active repentance. Hoshea’s wife would have to turn away from her other ‘traditions’.
Hoshea’s life was set apart to marry a woman to show us ourselves. She was a whore not in the physical, but in the spiritual part of her life. She did life her way. We are a whore when we make up our own instructions. We must remember that we may not claim to be God’s child, if we live by our ‘traditions’.
The Torah – The first five books of the Bible (B’resheet (Genesis), Sh’mot (Exodus), Vayikra (Leviticus), B’midbar (Numbers), D’varim (Deuteronomy) give us the sound foundation of our Creator’s personality.
Nevi’im (Prophets)
There is nothing new under the sun. All instructions begin with The Torah, Prophets & The Writings.
IF we RETURN to God’s instructions of righteous living and Yeshua’s resurrection, we resurrect.
We cannot stand before a HOLY God living in sin. That follows a different god…a man-made tradition. Hosea 14 tells us God does reject sin, but it also tells us the way of RETURN.
14:5 “I will heal their disloyalty; I will love them freely; for my anger has turned from him.
14:6 “I will be like dew to Israel; he will blossom like a lily and strike roots like the L’vanon.
14:7 “His branches will spread out, his beauty be like an olive tree and his fragrance like the L’vanon.
14:8 “Again they will live in his shade and raise grain; they will blossom like a vine, and its aroma will be like the wine of L’vanon.
Shade is The Torah…not seen as harsh laws, but loving instructions.
If we stop living together outside the covenant of marriage, if we stop celebrating others traditions, if we stop lusting after others possessions (even someone else’s wife), if we honor parents and our own siblings to care for them when they are in need, if we don’t abort our babies, if we don’t lie to ourselves making our words God’s words….if we don’t, if we don’t, if we don’t….. The Book of Leviticus is the middle book of The Torah. It is the belly of God. Righteous living is to be defined by God, not man.
How will we remove ourselves from God’s orphan list? We do it when we are without Gods instruction?
The Church is a whore to Torah. We have made her undress herself. We then call her (Torah) common.
Returning to Torah validates the love we have for Yeshua’s sacrifice. It is not works that saves us as scripture confirms, but The Torah produces the fruit of our salvation through Jesus’ blood.
It is The Torah that first gives witness to a Messiah coming. It is The Torah that shows Gentiles the way to walk in The Messiah. He is clean and would never eat unclean.
Even Peter said that he never ate common or unclean. Peter taught clean eating. Why did he say he never ate common food? What is common food if they were all eating clean (kosher)?
Traditional churches don’t understand this concept because it is a Hebrew concept. Greek teachers are in our universities and obtain doctorates in their ‘traditions’ handed down even before the evils of Martin Luther.
Are our churches part of Hosea’s Whore Church? Yes! But they love Jesus and that is all that is necessary is the constant chant from those callign themselves, The Bride.
Yes, this misidentified bride preaches a gospel of eat what you want because of ‘misinformation’. In these closing days this bride has chosen the wrong path. It is a wide path with many gates. It is not the narrow path of Torah that Yeshua Jesus walked.
Peter was confused to see a mixed multitude of animals coming down from heaven. It was repeated for him three times to make sure he didn’t miss the clear message. It was not about food, but about people. Peter’s three visions beheld clean and unclean animals. He was a Jew. Peter knew it was improper for a Jew to eat with a Gentile. Gentiles are called ‘unclean’ because they don’t follow Torah. Gentiles that convert to Yeshua will follow Torah. Jews that convert to Yeshua remain following The Torah. Before God’s instructions to Moses’ mankind had the same instructions…eat clean, sabbath, don’t kill, etc.
Peters vision came three times to 1. Confirm this was a serious matter. 2. Peter was to take The Message of Christ to Jew and Gentile. Today, Jew are considered clean as they eat clean. Today Gentile that are without Torah are still considered ‘unclean’.
How could Peter go to a people group that didn’t want to change their lifestyle? Or were some of them already eating clean? Yes, many Gentiles were eating clean because they were like Leah and Ruth who saw “God was with that Hebrew.” Yes, this would be God’s miracle of taking Hosea’s pagan wife and returning her to Torah.
Peter had already denied Yeshua three times on Nissan 14. Peter now has three applied to him again. He had lied to Jew and Gentile that fateful night. He would live to out the rest of his life in repentance ministering truths of Torah to Jew and Gentiles. He would daily repent of denying Yeshua on Nissan 14. He would begin by going to three Gentiles immediately telling of his three visions. He would declare Yeshua as the Son of God. His lying about not knowing the ways of the Hebrews would even catch up with him. He said he was not one of them when he was. Many saw him regularly expounding on The Torah. Peter was now a picture of Hosea’s whore wife who also denied The Torah.
PETER: Would they trust Peter’s message of resurrection? Do people today still mistaken Peter? Yes!
PAUL: Do clergy today mistaken Paul’s writings? Absolutely! Paul and Peter have been the most misunderstood apostles in our time…at the ‘end’ or closing of days full of deception. Pastors love pork BBQ and don’t think twice of cleaning the church on Sabbath for Sunday.
All are to come to The Cleaned One.
All are to come to The Slain Lamb.
All people choose to either be common or holy.
All are called be a ‘set apart people.
But not all will choose. Many will be impatient says the Scriptures. They will follow their old traditions saying, “The Slain One just isn’t coming in my lifetime. I’ll do what has been done for the last 2000 years as that must be the right tradition.” Gentiles are smarter as ‘we have Jesus’ is the chant.
Peter and the apostles had a two-fold message. Come into God’s Temple in Jerusalem to learn Torah. Come and hear the Risen Messiah speak. Come and join the one who fills up The Torah from beginning to end…Aleph to Tav (A-Z).
Many came to hear Yeshua Jesus teach The Torah. He tore down the high fences placed by the Pharisees. He did not remove one jot or tittle. He even showed himself as The Messiach but got kicked out of town for saying it. You see, The Torah proved who he was.
Today, the writings of the prophets are still thrown out by Satan. The deception in the end days is the same deception then. Hosea’s wife did not want any past, present or future evidence of resurrection via a god she could not see and touch. She loved her personal life of being common.
All are to hear God’s only begotten son was slain from the foundation of the world. The forefathers’ lives played out patterns confirming the ways that would be seen in The Messiah.
Adam, Noach, Abraham, the prophets and their writings confirmed resurrection. Their lives were restored because of ‘repentance’. Every life allowed to be born on this earth is to walk out God’s instructions. Creation even cries out showing the existence of The Creator.
The Torah explains creation to bring humans into fellowship with The Father. You are one with The Father as Yeshua was one with The Father. Oneness comes by being in The Torah. Adam had his instructions of elevating God in his generation. Adam did not give up on the hope of a Seed coming through him to save the world.
Noach allowed himself to be placed in a ark and lifted up as a sign of ‘resurrection.’
Three times God confirmed Peter’s vision of ‘pigs in a blanket’ coming down. These unclean animals represented unclean humans. This vision had absolutely nothing to do with changing the eating instructions. If you change something that is very very important to God, there would be more conversation from God about it. And there is nothing that confirms the removing of Moses Torah given to humans. But it does make sense when The Deceiver got involved.
The Deceiver began the deception with a conversation about the topic close to man’s pain…yes, circumcision. That conversation led to the entire Old Testament being thrown out by today’s end-time churches.
There is no “God Said” anywhere on this topic. God’s instruction booklet was laid out for all mankind on how to be set apart to him. But, just like Moses who said you could get a divorce if if if …, was also never Elohim approved.
Moses gave out all the if if if’s on divorce because man begged Moses for a change.
It seems Dr. Luke may have written the book of Hebrews. On marriage he states:
Heb 13:4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
On the concern of circumcision, a few disciples came together and share their own thoughts with that community.
Once again, man complains and demands human disciples to change The Torah for them.
Today, Peter’s Pigs have gone extreme. Today, Paul’s words haves gone extreme. Today, these false narratives are endorsed to help disqualify all of God’s instructions for today. We now are a “Lawless” society. Not even the Ten Commandments is allowed in court houses or schools.
False words have been put in Peter and Paul’s mouth. Jew and Gentile were still to eat clean. Each were to not have false gods before them.
But, by Peter and Paul just listing a few of the ‘still-to-do’s; today’s theologians teach that the entire Old Testament is not valid for our world today…even Jews are chastised for honoring the Torah. UNREAL!!!!
Peters again stood firm in his belief of not eating wrong. The answer came to him that it wasn’t about changing The Torah regulations, but it was about that area of Gentiles being taught about resurrection. Many Gentiles were already eating kosher.
ALL should participate in The Torah was not a new concept. But the concept of Gentiles no longer serving more than one god really struck at the heart of these communities that were surrounded by Roman gods. Even Zeus and Alexander the Great had figures of themselves….there could be perhaps over one thousand deities honored. There was to be no different between Jew and Gentile meant all of this craziness had to go. Israel had the concept of One God.
This was a challenge to the Jewish community to accept. How could all these people come to The Temple? What were these Gentiles supposed to do to show their love for God? What did Ruth do to follow Naomi’s god? Ruth was a Gentile following only Naomi’s God. She found no peace in the foreigners’ traditions. She turned to The Torah.
In the books written about their Ephesus experiences, the words ‘grafting in’ are used to show there is no difference between Jew or Gentile. Many Gentile communities were already eating clean and following God’s instructions. So, what is common?
Let’s talk about how we make God common. In the disciples’ days, they found people taking ‘clean’ food and praying over it to a foreign god and then using it also for our One Living God. That sacrifice is then considered ‘common’. There is nothing special about roses for your wife if you then give them to your mother, too. Things become ‘common’ unless you keep them special or set apart. We have a jealous God that wants his children to obey His instructions, known today as The Torah. We do what we can of the instructions that can apply to us and participate in God’s traditions and not man’s traditions. God’s traditions to not save us, but they can make us great or least in the Kingdom of God. And, the Scripture goes on to say, the least might not even be in the kingdom.
The biggest misnomer is the holiday called Christ’s mass. Taken from a religion that hated the Jews for their instructions being pushed on mankind. Peter and Paul kept bumping into these other gods and were constantly eat up and put in jail. My friend Marilyn had God speak to her on December 7, 2017. He told her that “What Pearl Harbor did for America, The Torah will do for the world. The Torah will ‘wake up’ and shake our world.
Our Messiah that is returning will implement it back on the earth. We just had Pearl Harbor celebrated December 7. It was a wake-up call for America to join and end a war that cost 50 million lives.
We talk about 6 million Jews being killed, but the numbers it took to stop the ‘misunderstanding of Torah ‘ took 50 million lives minimum. And what about the cost of spiritual souls when being confused over ‘the pigs in a blanket’.
What was common then could still be common today. Common means: normal. Normal means there is nothing special about it. Christmas has become a ‘common’ event with few even honoring the poor. Easter has the tradition of eating ham,,,,an unclean food. And, yet we expect our Creator to bend to our traditions to celebrate him how and when we want to…. laughing in his face even eating ‘unclean’.
There were many other gods being honored in these days even as far back as Abraham’s father Terah. Terah had a family business of making figures of many idols. Nimrod could have had an idol made after himself for others to honor. When Abraham called his dad out for not knowing the ‘unknown’ god, God has Abraham burn down the factory, The factory will finally burn to the ground with Terah’s family forced from Nimrod’s area.
Abraham was fifty years old and Sarah forty when they fled to his father Terah’s grandfather Haran’s area; the city of Haran. Abraham had studied with Noach’s son Shem and then his son. We can see they knew what had caused The Flood and what instructions from ADONAI were still important from Adam to Abraham.
Yes, Abraham’s Torah (God’s instructions) was given to Abe’s father, Terah. Same word structure: Terah / Torah. Instruction is seen in both names. Terah’s career had been making idol figures for their community and Nimrod. Abram burnt down the idol shop blaming it on the ‘Unknown God’. Today, we have so many idols in our lives, which include our children of whom we coo over more than figuring out the ways of God. We trust the church because they’re the educated ones and have ceretainly checked into Hosa’s whore.
Hmm… the churches I know still think it’s a hard book to understand. Most of our bibles don’t make sense to people because we’ve had the wrong glasses on. Perhaps if we just accepted the Original Testimonies first…study the OT first… without commentary…we would see OT show up as being confirmed in the NT. Study to show thyself approved and workman of the LORD.
Who says he is HOLY? Our Father says He is Holy. Thus, we are to be holy. How do we do that? The Torah defines it. God’s instructions demand that we define what Truth is. Pilate ask Yeshua this, “What is truth.” What did Yeshua say? He was the Truth. Who is Yeshua? He could only speak The Torah…because he is The Torah.
Mathew chapter 5 is Jesus himself explaining righteous living. He is like Moses now confirming the words of The Father only. Moses added nothing new, yet the Book of Deuteronomy are his own words reviewing their journey together.
Mathew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, only those who do what my Father in heaven wants… What does God want? He wants obedience to The Torah. Why? Because it’s Yeshua Jesus…. it totally is HIM.
I believe we have entered strong days of judgment. Thus, I close with Hosea Chapter Eight…in tears…as my Jerusalem Chicks Mansion burnt to the ground last Tuesday. These 16 chicks were born on Jerusalem Day last year.
They were just starting to lay eggs at six months old. Their mansion was joined to an old coop that had the run attached to it. Below freezing temperatures were coming. A bale of straw as added to keep them toasting…but it was the heat lamp to warm them that took them up in flames on Chanukah Day Two as Day Three began. Harry Truman’s Fire truck was sent away as they were already ashes. The next morning Twenty degree weather had our family wrapped in face covers to prevent frostbite. Two hours to dismantle and burn the remains. At 9:29 am, during the clean up, we got news of Levi Douglas being born. The Fourth Great Grandchild for us to celebrate.
I knew Levi would be a priest in his home, but I did not expect him to show up during the clean up of God’s sacrifice required of the Jerusalem Chicks. Four hens, two roosters and eleven chicks were offered up because I violated Torah. I’ve been writing this article while in Arizona at Thanksgiving time. I could not finish it as I couldn’t get it opened to finish. Tonight I’m dedicated to repenting for my sins of joining our family in man’s traditions….no matter what good intent they are. I repent for not observing fully what I knew to be God’s traditions as even Yeshua Jesus honored Chanukah as we see him standing there in Herod’s Temple at Solomon’s Porch…John 10.
We cannot make our world God’s world…His words our words. He has one set of instructions that comes with His traditions called The Lord’s Feasts. I repent for preaching to others what I gave in doing. I shopped for gifts but saying to myself that they were Chanukah gifts when in fact not one person in my family attended my Chanukah table. It was a beautiful table where every night I lite every candle and read all the Scriptures during that hour…but entirely by myself. I silently observed Chanukah 2022 by myself. I enjoyed it, but it is designed for friends.
Our property has had miracles on it. It is a property carrying the name El Shaddai placed all over it. It is a property that speaks of God in so many ways. And now this last year it is showing us the judgment that is happening to our earth and Israel. There is a correction for those living right now. We must respect our Creator. I give honor to Him alone, even during the trials.
This property El Shaddai Estates has lost all its cats (11) this year through dogs killing them. This property lost my 24-year-old horse on July 17. Yet, it was according to God’s perfect hour for Oreo. The premature bull calf born in September eventually died and was buried by Oreo. People joke about eating the bottom feeders from our pond. I warn them, but they smirk and eat anyway. To rest our property of any work on Sabbath 2022 seemed impossible.
I repent daily for my lack of understanding how to communicate the value of Torah in our lives. I thought of removing the words El Shaddai from the property, but then I realized that this property is still being set apart. It is Holy unto ‘the LORD. It is being used in showing us what our world looks like in a Shemittah year and possibly a Jubilee year.
We took in just one crop of hay because of drought. Yes, it matches what is happening with food shortages around the world. Am I mad at God? I wanted our land to rest this year but it never seems to happen. Yet, God closed it down himself with only one crop of hay.
God is in everything. I’ve tried God for better or for worse….in richness and in health. He is my husband and I thank him for talking to me every day. I cannot make it without him. I only ask that human life be spared in this Hosea-time period.
e gave us two great grandchildren born on Chanukah Day Three (Levi Douglas) and Chanukah Day Six (Charity Beth). I’ve realized that Chanukah babies were conceived at The Fast of Esther and Purim. God stayed dedicated to life after Esther and the Jews fasted for a month. Their wombs were opened after their plague or death left.
Our plague of COVID left woman’s wombs empty. But, now in 2022 we see wombs bursting worth with babies everywhere…everywhere…and females’ babies are winning the balance. Tishri 7 gave us a great grandchild this year, too. October 2, 2022. Three greats all born at very special times that our Creator set apart to show us He does look at his calendar and honor even the feasts created by the Hebrews as they repent and honor Him.
I’ll close as my heart is heavy in not knowing how to fully express the respect I have for our Creator, my El Shaddai, of whom holds me together, even as he corrects me. I am thankful for the red cow having her baby here tonight…I pray it lives. Maybe we’ll get to call her Israel’s red heifer. I’m thinking she’ll have a heifer (girl).
Here is the closing of Hosea 8. It’s not pretty but it is the truth about our God who speaks in life, death and even looking at the clock. I know in my heart he has me. He’s saying, “It’s the right time…I’ve got you…you can handle what is next.”
We appoint leaders that lead us away from Torah.
Israel Will Reap the Whirlwind
Hos 8:1 “Put the shofar to your lips! Like a vulture [he swoops down] on the house of Adonai, because they have violated my covenant and sinned intentionally against my Torah.
Hos 8:2 Will they cry out to me, ‘We are Isra’el, God, we know you’?
Hos 8:3 Isra’el has thrown away what is good; the enemy will pursue him.
Hos 8:4 They make kings, but without my authority; they appoint leaders, but without my knowledge. With their silver and gold they make themselves idols, but these can lead only to their own destruction.
Hos 8:5 Your calf, Shomron, has been thrown away; my fury burns against them. How long will it be until they are able to make themselves clean?
Hos 8:6 Here is what Isra’el produces: a craftsman makes something—it’s a non-god; the calf of Shomron will be broken to pieces.
Hos 8:7 For they sow the wind, so they will reap the whirlwind. The standing grain has no ears, so it will yield no flour; and if it does yield any, foreigners will swallow it up.
Hos 8:8 Isra’el is swallowed up; now they are among the Goyim (Gentile) like a vessel nobody wants.
Hos 8:9 For they have gone up to Ashur; like a wild donkey, alone by itself, Efrayim has bargained for lovers.
Hos 8:10 But even if they bargain among the Goyim, now I will round them up. Soon they will start to feel the burden of these kings and leaders.
Hos 8:11 For Efrayim keeps building altars for sin; yes, altars are sinful for him.
Hos 8:12 I write him so many things from my Torah, yet he considers them foreign.
Hos 8:13 They offer me sacrifices of flesh and eat them, but Adonai does not accept them. Now he will recall their crimes and punish their sins—they will return to Egypt.
Hos 8:14 For Isra’el forgot his maker and built palaces; and Y’hudah made more fortified cities; but I will send fire on his cities, and it will consume their strongholds.”
HOSEA Chapter 14
A Plea to Return to the Lord
Hos 14:1 Shomron will bear her guilt, for she has rebelled against her God. They will fall by the sword, their little ones will be dashed to pieces and their pregnant women ripped open.
Hos 14:2 Return, Isra’el, to Adonai your God, for your guilt has made you stumble.
Hos 14:3 Take words (Torah) with you, and return to Adonai; say to him, “Forgive all guilt, and accept what is good; we will pay instead of bulls [the offerings of] our lips.
Hos 14:4 Ashur will not save us, we will not ride on horses, and we will no longer call what we made with our hands our gods. For it is only in you that the fatherless can find mercy.”
Hos 14:5 “I will heal their disloyalty, I will love them freely; for my anger has turned from him.
Hos 14:6 I will be like dew to Isra’el; he will blossom like a lily and strike roots like the L’vanon.
Hos 14:7 His branches (Torah) will spread out, his beauty be like an olive tree and his fragrance like the L’vanon.
Hos 14:8 Again they will live in his shade and raise grain; they will blossom like a vine, and its aroma will be like the wine of the L’vanon.
Hos 14:9 Efrayim [will say], ‘What have I to do any more with idols?’ And I, I answer and affirm him; I am like a fresh, green cypress tree; your fruitfulness comes from me.”
Hos 14:10 Let the wise understand these things, and let the discerning know them. For the ways of Adonai are straight, And the righteous walk in them, but in them sinners stumble.
