Will Damascus Be NO More?

Towers are falling – Mecca on 9.11; Assad born on 9.11.  Towers dropping…So as to America So as to Israel’s enemies.

There is a Hebrew dance step that is called the Yemenite. How it got it’s name I do not know. But from looking at Yemen’s history, perhaps they have to step carefully and some times backward to stay alive. It’s a short step forward, a rock step and it’s done. It’s simple but hard for me to do. It takes practice.

Yemen is still in that rock step. It’s land borders Saudi Arabia with water between it and Iran. You would have to jump to the east and rock back to make that jump over the water into Iran….. Thus, it stays attached to the Arab world of Sunnis’. Yemen is a constant pull to and fro from Shiite to Sunni, Sunni to Shiite through history.

In fact, Saudi Arabia just did a horrible thing to the Yemen people. They released an explosion over them that kills the body but not the electronics. The war machinery is so different today.  The electronics seem to be of more value than human life. It was a horrible thing.  I will research the name for this and update this post.

What else does Yemen remind us of?  Syria!

SYRIA – The U.S. supported rebels have a done a good job in defeating Assad of whom used chemicals against his own people.  Will it be four years or will scripture be true and it will be three years as is also done to Mo’av in Isaiah 16:1?

The Yemenite represent a people also who were in a four-year war in the 1960’s at which time a foreign country showed up disguised as Egyptians.  This same foreign power is doing the same thing in Syria tonight.  Russia is attacking the rebels that have been fighting the Assad regime that used chemical warfare on his own civilians. Russia is suppose to be helping remove ISIS… but instead it is operating against the rebels supported by the United States.

Russia – 1962 offers up Russian lives for keeping Sunni’s in Yemen.

Russia – 1970 offers up Russian lives for Egypt fighting Israel.

Russia – 2015 may offer up Russian lives for keeping Shiites in Syria.

Four-Year Battles

Yemen 1962, Russia put on Egyptian uniforms and died for the cause of putting a Sunni leader back into power as the four-year battle was being lost. It was called Egypt’s Vietnam because it just would not come to a close.

Who wanted this Imman back in power? Egypt and Saudi Arabia, Sunni. By 1962 10,000 lives were lost to this cause. Iran had brought unrest and removed the Imman and so now there began a northern Yemen. This is another battle within the Muslims religion…Shiite (Iran) against the Arab world of (Sunnis).

1962 – RUSSIA got involved with Yemen in 1962. Russian soldiers died and were then replaced by Egyptian pilots. The Russian machinery was still given as 10,000 pounds of food, aide and war machines were dropped to the town of Sanaa by Russia over three weeks.

The Imman that was to be put back in power became very unpopular between his trip from Egypt to Moscow. The lesson could be that Syria’s King Assad may become even more unpopular if he is allowed back as he has caused more death and despair to not just Syria, but to the entire world.

1970 – Russia stepped in Egypt’s struggle against Israel. I’m wondering if Egypt was also at a four-year battle with Israel since we know they had a surprise attack on Israel on Yom Kippur, known as the 1973 Yom Kippur War. For two weeks Israel could not find itself to get militarily organized because of being bombed continually. I quote that from a Yom Kippur veteran, Danny G.

2015 – RUSSIA is involved this time in the struggle against the Arab Sunni and fighting with the Shiite which includes Iran. The four-year battle to remove President Assad from Syria has come at a high cost. 250,000 from the country of Syria alone.

The United States became an enemy of Assad when it was found that he used chemical weapons on his own citizens. He is a leader that must be removed.

The author of these recent articles leaves us with the thought that perhaps Russia should not just support a leader because they have given him much war machinery business, but look at the Ally’s in which he plays with.

Russia can not lie in bed with many partners and survive. He will get a disease and perish.

My thought is that the Bible tells us that Damascus will life barren to not be inhabited by man again. If Assad still has chemical weapons stored, perhaps even just a small fraction of a bottle exploded will deteriorate the area so no man, animal or plant can survive. When the chemical weapons were suppose to be cleaned up and given to America to dispose of…there were still some that were Russia’s responsibility. People say that there is still chemical weapons that are not accounted for.

God has removed many people from Syria and Damascus. Perhaps it is time for President Assad to come clean on the chemical weapons so they do not destroy him personally and Damascus. But, if these countries still play the odds and try to conquer the world in the name of their gods, then the living God will see to it that scripture is fulfilled….and Damascus is no more and it will not be habitable.

Isaiah 17: 1 “This is the prophecy about Dammesek:

Dammesek will soon stop being a city;

it will become a heap of ruin.

The cities of ‘Ar’er will be abandoned,

given over to flocks lying down undisturbed.

Efrayim will have no defenses,

Dammesek will cease to rule,

and Aram’s survivors will share the fate

of Isra’el’s finest sons.”

Jeremiah 49:23

Concerning Dammesek:

Hamat and Arpad are confused;

having heard bad news, they dissolve in fear,

like the churning sea, which cannot calm itself.

Dammesek, weakened, turns to flee;

trembling has seized her;

anguish and pain take hold of her

like the pains of a woman in labor.

How can a city so praised be deserted,

a city that gave me such joy?

Therefore her young men will fall in her squares,

and all her warriors be silenced on that day,”

says Adonai-Tzva’ot.

I will light a fire inside Dammesek’s walls

which will consume the palaces of Ben-Hadad.”

More than 200,000 Syrians have lost their lives in four years of armed conflict, which began with anti-government protests before escalating into a full-scale civil war. More than 11 million others have been forced from their homes as forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad and those opposed to his rule battle each other – as well as jihadist militants from Islamic State.

In foreign policy, Bashar al-Assad has continued his father’s hardline policy towards Israel. He has repeatedly said that there will be no peace unless occupied land was returned “in full”, and continues to support militant groups opposed to Israel.”
