Galatians Quick Reference Pocket Commentary by Ave Ben Mordechai @ 2006

Galatians can be a difficult document to understand!

Many idioms and nuances of meaning that readers and students simple don’t easily grasp has made Galatians difficult to grasp. Other books of the bible have this same problem which has lead to confusion and misapplication of the Word.

The disciple Sh’ual (Paul) can be blamed as his sentences and thoughts run together and he does not use much punctuation. Is this his fault, or our fault? In the Hebrew the letter ‘vav’ means and or connect. There was no period in the Hebrew and there is no ‘comma’. So, when man put a printable Bible together, they even went as far as to end and start chapters where the thoughts were not new.

So, let’s give Sh’ual credit where credit is due….He was a Hebrew writing in Aramaic and Hebrew. When he spoke to people who spoke Greek, they were the ones that wrote down his words into their own language….and here my friends is the great conundrum. We have loved LOVED Paul’s words almost more than The Father’s words and Yeshua Jesus’ words. We LOVE PAUL, and yet books and books have had to be written to try to understand his words that were put in print. Periods, commas, chapter, verses were added to God’s Word. In this we actually could say man altered The Bible…but in reality what we’ve done is put more emphasis on the ‘word put in print’ than the lesson to be learned.

This article is written for myself. It’s going to be a ‘book review’ of Galatians Quick Reference Pocket Commentary by Ave Ben Mordechai written in 2006.

Before I start, I have to say that this is for me and I hope that it can benefit you. If you only want to read from the King James version then so be it. I’m now 71 years old and have studied God’s word through Bible Studies since our first daughter was born in 1977. It was at her birth in June that year when she was baptized that I realized that it was up to her to decide to walk out her life with God and that no action we did TO her such as ‘infant baptism’ could save her. She is the one that would have to come to realization that God was real in her life. She would have to decide to walk toward Him or she would walk away from His ways. Once she decided to walk toward Him then her baptism would become personal as her commitment to God.

Like I said I’m now 71 years old with years and years of bible study under my belt. Today, I look forward to what I don’t believe to be a half truth, but truth as a Jewish leader see the book of Galatians. I love to read the King James Bible along side the other bibles and compare. The words in italics have been added…yes added to help us understand how that author thinks. It that adding to God’s word? I don’t think so, but it could be if it’s not interpreted correctly.

How many Bibles are there? I enjoy MacArthur’s commentaries in his Bible as well as The Completed Jewish Bible influenced by David Stern a Jew. There are bibles printed in rainbow colors and bibles that even take out any gender reference so that Bible is neutral… Oh what a wicked generation we’ve become as write our own bibles declaring, “This is what God says.”

I start this project of looking at what I’m now going to label a ‘conspiracy’. It’s been a ‘conspiracy’ of to hide The Truth by manipulation of words…God’s words. Pastors twist words to tickle the sheep’s ears so they now believe they are the only ‘church group’ going to heaven. Denomination have been built because of ‘twisted’ words from bible versions written by mere men. It is time for us to consider what do the Hebrew and Aramaic languages and the cultural settings of when that Scripture was played out on our earth have to do with your eternal salvation. The Bible can NOT just be read in a year without leaving a mark on you. But, what is more important is what did it do to change you into the person to represent Him as it’s your turn to walk out His ways on this earth? We are told that a life can be seventy years and if you are blessed it can be eighty. So, there you have it. What will you do with a generation of time allocated to you? Do we buy the best home possible to raise our children and hope to leave it as an inheritance to them?

Or, do we look to eternity and in ‘everything’ first have heaven in mind in all our decisions and discussions.

Do we avoid Uncle Sam’s taxes or do we give what is due this particular Caesar in our time, knowing God is there right with us in whom we trust?

How we act on this earth is how we will be in eternity. Our names are already written in a book as God knew us before we were in our mother’s womb. King David knew he would see his child that died at a young age. That was the firstborn son of Bathsheba of whom was then married to soldier Uriah. King David sent her husband to the front lines hoping he would die in glory for his king…which in turn allowed King David to marry the woman he had violated and gotten pregnant.

We are that bride…so beautiful and yet violated. Pregnant with deception. All through history we see ‘Bathsheba’ played out. The Church has been deceived in thinking that they are the ‘firstborn’ when they are NOT the ‘firstborn’…Israel is God’s firstborn. YHWH demanded his BRIDE be released to marry her in The Wilderness. He made a ‘Ketubah’ (marriage agreement) in the desert via the commands being agreed to. He laid them out with a strong voice with 70 plus four others directly hearing The Words. Their was an altar of sea blue glass they sat eating in the presence of God.

These 73 or the 74 would NOT cross into The Promised Land. They knew the guidelines…they had met YHWH personally. Joshua was there but not Caleb. Caleb was a Gentile and these are Hebrews sitting in the presence of God. After this meeting the people could then come closer to the Mountain of God but in case they would come to close and die a fence was put up so the people would NOT try to climb the mountain in search of God.

No one can see God and live….not even Moses could walk across The Jordan forty years later. 14,400 days later there would be only TWO men…Joshua and Calev that qualified to cross over. Joshua and Calev had NOT been to this special meeting and yet they were the ones that would believe YHWH would deliver them from the giants that lived in The Promised Land.

Let’s focus back on the Disciple Paul who wrote almost every New Testament book but a few. This man saw Yeshua Jesus on the road that lead to Damascus. His eyes would from hereafter have a scale on them as he even thanks the people for accepting him in his unbecoming appearance. Paul had been humbled to the point that he would spend 68 years hiking and hiding from pirates.. He was abandoned by John Mark and would not have any more to do with him. In these mountains and jagged coastlines of Turkey he lived in solitude…away from people….having been beaten up many times and ship wrecked many times. He wanted to be placed in prison which really protected him from death. At one point he was under open arrest which took two years to come to trial. It is at his trials that he laid out his burdens for the ‘Gentile’. He wanted the Jew and Gentiles to come away from Rome’s gods and serve the one true God of Abraham, Isaac and Ya’cov.

I just watched a documentary by a professor from Indiana. He loves to hike the hills of Turkey and find artifacts and discover the places the disciple Paul stayed and ministered to. This man looked at Paul through a normal biblical gentile’s eyes. I thought he presented his artifacts very well. He is now recorded as finding the ‘oldest synagogue in the world’ in Cecilia. Paul spent a lot of time in that area and also revisited it many times.

Turkish shepherds find unusual sites and tell him when he returns to Turkey to hike. Thus, it is this shepherd that should be given credit of it’s find. And, because this professor looks through New Testament eyes, he only saw a synagogue. He showed us the place they would wash their feet. He showed us the place where the entire body could be immersed in water called a Mikvah. He showed us where just hand washing happened. Water immersion is not new to the Jew. They had a ‘Mikvah’ (washed) every time they entered the synagogue.

He teaches that gentiles first have their writing put on them and then they are placed above the doorway. This is how he dated this synagogue because it was not scratched in but carved in by hand before being put in it’s place.

But, his confusion came as to why would it also have the sign of Zeus above the door. His documentary of over two hours never gave us the answer to this question. So, now we have what he declares and the ‘oldest’ synagogue known to the world in Turkey but it had the form of a menorah and the form of Zeus on the same door lentil.

Now, we can start our study of Galatians. But, we will now use this lentil answer the ‘mystery’ of what the apostle Sh’ual is really saying. Even, John will have Yeshua give him a vision of what heaven looks like and the things ‘Today’s Churches’ can compare themselves to….ALL churches in TURKEY.

Let’s go forward now with an understanding that Sh’ual had visited these areas for over 68 years of his All life is what this documentary declared. Sh’ual knew how to hide from pirates, Gentiles and yes even Jews.

This lentil proves what Sh’ual mission was about. The Jews had added Zeus to their worship. Both the ‘menorah’ and the sign for ‘Zeus’ was engraved on their lentils. When he saw this he corrected them and told them NOT to follow after Rome’s gods. There was also a sculpture found of a soldier in that area. The documentary did confirm that The Ottoman Empire honored many gods and perhaps even this figure showed a man being honored as a god as well.

Now, let’s really start…knowing that even in these last several years it is confirmed through current explorations that God’s words are true and Sh’ual has been misunderstood in many things because of a New Testament only thinking.

Let’s count what led to The Biggest Deception.

1. Sh’ual spoke in Aramaic, not Greek as seen in Acts 26:14, 21:40, 22:2.
   1. He did not write in Greek but in Aramaic.
   2. Those who transcribed his words into Greek knew very little Hebrew or Aramaic.
   3. This Greek text came under scrutiny of the Roman Church of the West.
   4. The Roman Church of the West was subject to editing by its priests and copyists.
   5. The Church of the East had far less pagan tampering and influence.

Truths:

1. Yeshua Jesus said all Israel must hear and do The Torah. Luke 8:19-21, Mathew 5:17-19.

Jesus’ Mother and Brothers

Luk 8:19  Then Yeshua’s mother and brothers came to see him, but they couldn’t get near him because of the crowd. 

Luk 8:20  It was reported to him, “Your mother and your brothers are standing outside and want to see you.” 

Luk 8:21  But he gave them this answer: “My mother and brothers are those who hear God’s message and act on it!” 

Christ Came to Fulfill the Law

Mat 5:17  “Don’t think that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete. 

Mat 5:18  Yes indeed! I tell you that until heaven and earth pass away, not so much as a yud ( י ) or a stroke will pass from the Torah—not until everything that must happen has happened. 

Mat 5:19  So whoever disobeys the least of these mitzvot and teaches others to do so will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But whoever obeys them and so teaches will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. 

2. Pharisees and scribes were not righteous. Mathew 15:1-15

Traditions and Commandments

Mat 15:1  Then some P’rushim and Torah-teachers from Yerushalayim came to Yeshua and asked him, 

Mat 15:2  “Why is it that your talmidim break the Tradition of the Elders? They don’t do n’tilat-yadayim before they eat!” 

Mat 15:3  He answered, “Indeed, why do you break the command of God by your tradition? 

Mat 15:4  For God said, ‘Honor your father and mother,’ and ‘Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death.’ 

Mat 15:5  But you say, ‘If anyone says to his father or mother, “I have promised to give to God what I might have used to help you,” 

Mat 15:6  then he is rid of his duty to honor his father or mother.’ Thus by your tradition you make null and void the word of God! 

Mat 15:7  You hypocrites! Yesha`yahu was right when he prophesied about you, 

Mat 15:8  ‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far away from me. 

Mat 15:9  Their worship of me is useless, because they teach man-made rules as if they were doctrines.’ ” 

What Defiles a Person

Mat 15:10  Then he called the crowd to him and said, “Listen and understand this! 

Mat 15:11  What makes a person unclean is not what goes into his mouth; rather, what comes out of his mouth, that is what makes him unclean!” 

Mat 15:12  The talmidim came to him and said, “Do you know that the P’rushim were offended by what you said?” 

Mat 15:13  He replied, “Every plant that my Father in heaven has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. 

Mat 15:14  Let them be. They are blind guides. When a blind man guides another blind man, both will fall in a pit.” 

Mat 15:15  Kefa said to him, “Explain the parable to us.”

3. Yeshua Jesus called them seats or chairs of the blind. Mathew 23:16 Mat 23:16  “Woe to you, you blind guides! You say, ‘If someone swears by the Temple, he is not bound by his oath; but if he swears by the gold in the Temple, he is bound.’ 
4. Their teachings are like leavening that is placed into a lump of dough which contours its shape. Mathew 16:11-12

Mat 16:11  How can you possibly think I was talking to you about bread? Guard yourselves from the hametz of the P’rushim and Tz’dukim!” 

Mat 16:12  Then they understood—they were to guard themselves not from yeast for bread but from the teaching of the P’rushim and Tz’dukim.

5. Pharisees were of satan. John 8:43-47 and snakes. Mathew 23:33

Joh 8:43  Why don’t you understand what I’m saying? Because you can’t bear to listen to my message. 

Joh 8:44  You belong to your father, Satan, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. From the start he was a murderer, and he has never stood by the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he tells a lie, he is speaking in character; because he is a liar—indeed, the inventor of the lie! 

Joh 8:45  But as for me, because I tell the truth you don’t believe me. 

Joh 8:46  Which one of you can show me where I’m wrong? If I’m telling the truth, why don’t you believe me? 

Joh 8:47  Whoever belongs to God listens to what God says; the reason you don’t listen is that you don’t belong to God.” 

Mat 23:33  “You snakes! Sons of snakes! How can you escape being condemned to Gei-Hinnom? 

6. They did not honor him. John 8:49 John 8:49  Yeshua replied, “Me? I have no demon. I am honoring my Father. But you dishonor me.  7. They did not believe Moses or keep The Torah. John 5:45-47 Joh 5:45  “But don’t think that it is I who will be your accuser before the Father. Do you know who will accuse you? Moshe, the very one you have counted on! 

Joh 5:46  For if you really believed Moshe, you would believe me; because it was about me that he wrote. 

Joh 5:47  But if you don’t believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?” 

8. Yeshua Jesus warned to stay away from destructive men of Israel because of what they were doing to The Torah. Mathew 23:2-3 Mat 23:2  “The Torah-teachers and the P’rushim,” he said, “sit in the seat of Moshe. 

Mat 23:3  So whatever they tell you, take care to do it. But don’t do what they do, because they talk but don’t act! 

Yeshua said to ACT on The Torah given at Mt. Sinai.

Sh’ual was dealing with Phariseeic/Rabbinic law and tradition. He was faced with this centuries before there was an ‘official’ church dogma established by the Roman Emperor Constantine (325 AD Nicean Council) which spawned the Roman Catholic Church and the ‘rebellious’ daughter, Protestant Christianity.

TANAK – (Hebrew Scriptures)- The Bible to the first century believers in Yeshua.

Pharisees, Sadducees and Rabbis: Religious teachers of that day. (Yeshua was a Pharisee…teaching and finally proving resurrection.)

We still have Pharisees today but the Sadducee is no longer around. I like to think that it is SAD U SEE that the Saducees did not believe in resurrection. Their disbelief even dissolved them from the face the earth. But, not so with the Pharisees who follow the teachings of Gamliel…who believed in resurrection.

You too will believe it or not believe it. Free will operates in every human being. We are not animals operating under the torah of instinct. Man operates in free will to make a decision when they are old enough to undestand just as a child can understand the basic concept of Yeshua’s love. That love is seen in The TANAK. It is in the prophets writings that they also confirmed all that had been, is and is to come. The patterns have been set on our earth so no man is without excuse.

The sun comes up just as The Son will come. Darkness was first in Creation just as we see iniquity fill our earth and yet The Land was possessed just as promised to Abraham and his children. The Land was promised 400 years after Isaac was born. This time-line patterns to Yeshua Jesus arriving as a baby to our earth at 4000 years when Yeshua Jesus arrived to our planet.

Four is the letter dahlet represented by a door. Four has a threshold to it that opens, shuts or completes something. Kings ruled 40 years. David beheld his son Solomon 17 take his place after he completed his course of reigning of forty years.

I just read that the last six months of 2021 insurance companies are in alignment when they report that they have lost 40 percent more people to death than two years ago. They are in agreeement that the weak died off first but now to see a 40 percent increase around the world is just appalling. The increase began when the injections increased for those between the ages of 18-68.

Can you imagine 40 percent more people died from July through December than that same time in 2019.

In The Wilderness disobedience of NOT wanting to immediately move into The Land brough that entire generation to be buried over 40 years. Then, the pattern was filled up and history moved forward to those that would believe God’s method of salvation for that generation.

You will disappear and return to The Kingdom or you will return to reign with King Yeshua Jesus in charge…pouring The Torah into people’s hearts.

Mat 23:33  “You snakes! Sons of snakes! How can you escape being condemned to Gei-Hinnom? 

What people don’t understand is that Paul’s conversation was away from an oral Phariseeism that had built up so many walls making their guidelines more important than The Torah that they were instructed to remember to tell their children. Their father’s real-life experiences was commanded to be read to the entire nation once a year by The King. Kings could have their scribes read to the people which we see Josiah doing. He wept so hard about The Torah being laid aside with dust all over it in a hidden corner.

We are to shake the dust from our feet and leave those that will NOT listen.

Yeshua Jesus came to tear down those walls completing everything that was declared about him by The Father.

Yeshua took the people toward the Mosaic writings not away from them. Sh’ual would collide with the Torah of Heaven so much that he would no longer support the tenants of those Pharisaic halacha (religious laws) and their authority. Philippians 3:4-7, Galatians 1:14.

Php 3:4  even though I certainly have grounds for putting confidence in such things. If anyone else thinks he has grounds for putting confidence in human qualifications, I have better grounds: 

Php 3:5  b’rit-milah on the eighth day, by birth belonging to the people of Isra’el, from the tribe of Binyamin, a Hebrew-speaker, with Hebrew-speaking parents, in regard to the Torah, a Parush, 

Php 3:6  in regard to zeal, a persecutor of the Messianic Community, in regard to the righteousness demanded by legalism, blameless. 

Php 3:7  But the things that used to be advantages for me, I have, because of the Messiah, come to consider a disadvantage. 

Gal 1:14  and how, since I was more of a zealot for the traditions handed down by my forefathers than most Jews my age, I advanced in [traditional] Judaism more rapidly than they did. 

Act 22:3  “I am a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city and trained at the feet of Gamli’el in every detail of the Torah of our forefathers. I was a zealot for God, as all of you are today.

Yeshua’s words and actions were a constant restating and reliving of the words of the Law of Moses. John 12:44-50

Jesus Came to Save the World

Joh 12:44  Yeshua declared publicly, “Those who put their trust in me are trusting not merely in me, but in the One who sent me. 

Joh 12:45  Also those who see me see the One who sent me. 

Joh 12:46  I have come as a light into the world, so that everyone who trusts in me might not remain in the dark. 

Joh 12:47  If anyone hears what I am saying and does not observe it, I don’t judge him; for I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. 

Joh 12:48  Those who reject me and don’t accept what I say have a judge—the word which I have spoken will judge them on the Last Day. 

Joh 12:49  For I have not spoken on my own initiative, but the Father who sent me has given me a command, namely, what to say and how to say it. 

Joh 12:50  And I know that his command is eternal life. So what I say is simply what the Father has told me to say.” 

All of us have sinned against heaven. None of us can get puffed up and flaunt this Jesus message to a Jew to set them in their place. Nor, should be be puffed up to judge the lost Pharisees of our day.

Rom 11:17  But if some of the branches were broken off, and you—a wild olive—were grafted in among them and have become equal sharers in the rich root of the olive tree, 

Rom 11:18  then don’t boast as if you were better than the branches! However, if you do boast, remember that you are not supporting the root, the root is supporting you. 

Rom 11:19  So you will say, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” 

Rom 11:20  True, but so what? They were broken off because of their lack of trust. However, you keep your place only because of your trust. So don’t be arrogant; on the contrary, be terrified! 

Rom 11:21  For if God did not spare the natural branches, he certainly won’t spare you! 

The next comments will go forth so both Jew and Gentile can understand what Paul is trying to say to The Galatians. He was naturally born in Taursus in the area of Cilecia to Jewish parents. These parents were Roman citizens so Rome had to respect Sh’ual and hear his cases. He was a Jewish name and yet of Rome. He knew their gods and dieties. It saddened greatly to see a synagogue with a menorah and the sign for Zeus on the same lentil. He had spoken to the Jews about not having other gods before them…and yet for whatever reason…perhaps their own lives were threatened in those hills in which many hid.

Let’s dig in now to Galatians trying to understand from a Hebrew mindset what The Father had in mind…even in this time of a world-wide plague of two years is only seeing more deaths. How did Egypt stop their plagues? Can we learn how to RETURN to God? Can we find our own Wilderness experience right in our bedrooms and think how to RETURN to The Torah…The Feasts…that celebrate our Creator. I say this because instead of writing about this…I want to tell you about the Tonga volcano that shook our earth sending a 5000 mile tsunami out….and the Shishaldrin volcano that acts up in Shemmitah years and at Zechariah’s horsemen that is right now. So many things I want to tell you, but they all just POINT to the fact that God is real and active on our earth. What we need to see is that God is active in your very life. When you hurt, you should be returning to HIM in repentance for even things you don’t now you’ve done to offend him.

What if a pastor has sold you down the road lock stock and barrel but it’s not true,, because he too is just human and has been taguht to not read any other comments about The Bible. People are trained to only listen to their pastor and not to think for themselves.

Okay, ready set focus. Let’s try to understand Paul’s focus on Judaism, the Jews, the Pharisees and rabbis. May we see Paul’s promise to show us the Torah and it’s Wisdom. Deut 4:1-6; Luke 11:9-13; James 1:5-9

Moses Commands Obedience

Deu 4:1  “Now, Isra’el, listen to the laws and rulings I am teaching you, in order to follow them, so that you will live; then you will go in and take possession of the land that Adonai, the God of your fathers, is giving you. 

Deu 4:2  In order to obey the mitzvot of Adonai your God which I am giving you, do not add to what I am saying, and do not subtract from it. 

Deu 4:3  You saw with your own eyes what Adonai did at Ba`al-P`or, that Adonai destroyed from among you all the men who followed Ba`al-P`or; 

Deu 4:4  but you who stuck with Adonai your God are still alive today, every one of you. 

Deu 4:5  Look, I have taught you laws and rulings, just as Adonai my God ordered me, so that you can behave accordingly in the land where you are going in order to take possession of it. 

Deu 4:6  Therefore, observe them; and follow them; for then all peoples will see you as having wisdom and understanding. When they hear of all these laws, they will say, ‘This great nation is surely a wise and understanding people.’ 

The letter dahlet is number four and pictured as a door:

Luk 11:9  “Moreover, I myself say to you: keep asking, and it will be given to you; keep seeking, and you will find; keep knocking, and the door will be opened to you. 

Luk 11:10  For everyone who goes on asking receives; and he who goes on seeking finds; and to him who continues knocking, the door will be opened. 

Luk 11:11  “Is there any father here who, if his son asked him for a fish, would instead of a fish give him a snake? 

Luk 11:12  or if he asked for an egg would give him a scorpion? 

Luk 11:13  So if you, even though you are bad, know how to give your children gifts that are good, how much more will the Father keep giving the Ruach HaKodesh from heaven to those who keep asking him!” 

Jas 1:5  Now if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all generously and without reproach; and it will be given to him. 

Jas 1:6  But let him ask in trust, doubting nothing; for the doubter is like a wave in the sea being tossed and driven by the wind. 

Jas 1:7  Indeed that person should not think that he will receive anything from the Lord, 

Jas 1:8  because he is double-minded, unstable in all his ways. 

Jas 1:9  Let the brother in humble circumstances boast about his high position. 

Totah 101 The Basics:

1. Did Yeshua Jesus believe the Torah was still effective? Did his disciples believe it? They all believed the first five books of the Law of Moses was applicable and in fact taught that it was a requirement to prove one’s faith in YHWH. It would give a blessing with the land inheritance given to Abraham.

3. Did Israel agree to do and to hear? Yes…Exodus 24:7-8
4. Did a generation of people die off before they could enter in? Yes, forty years later the Jordan waters separated so they could cross. (Fact, you can NOT be in the presence of The Father and live. All die…even the 70 elders that feasted in The Lord’s presence 40 years earlier.)
5. Who did not let them cross their land at the beginning for the 40 years? Moab…Lot’s daughter.
6. Is there a covenant given at Moab? Yes. Deuteronomy 29:1,13-15

The Covenant Renewed in Moab

Deu 29:1  These are the words of the covenant, which the LORD commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab, beside the covenant which he made with them in Horeb. 

Deu 29:13  “But I am not making this covenant and this oath only with you. 

Deu 29:14  Rather, I am making it both with him who is standing here with us today before Adonai our God and also with him who is not here with us today. 

Deu 29:15  For you know how we lived in the land of Egypt and how we came directly through the nations you passed through; 

7. Centuries later during the reign of Israel’s kings was the Mosaic Torah contract still a firm command? Yes! 2 Kings 17:13-15

2Ki 17:13  Yet the LORD testified against Israel, and against Judah, by all the prophets, and by all the seers, saying, Turn ye from your evil ways, and keep my commandments and my statutes, according to all the law which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by my servants the prophets. 

2Ki 17:14  Notwithstanding they would not hear, but hardened their necks, like to the neck of their fathers, that did not believe in the LORD their God. 

2Ki 17:15  And they rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he made with their fathers, and his testimonies which he testified against them; and they followed vanity, and became vain, and went after the heathen that were round about them, concerning whom the LORD had charged them, that they should not do like them. 

8. What happened prior to the Northern Kingdom’s exile? Isa 42:24  Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law.
9. What happened just prior to the Southern Kingdom exile? The Broken Covenant

Jer 11:1  The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, 

Jer 11:2  Hear ye the words of this covenant, and speak unto the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem; 

Jer 11:3  And say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel; Cursed be the man that obeyeth not the words of this covenant, 

10. How do we become God’s people?

Jer 11:4  Which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, Obey my voice, and do them, according to all which I command you: so shall ye be my people, and I will be your God: 

Jer 11:5  That I may perform the oath which I have sworn unto your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is this day. Then answered I, and said, So be it, O LORD. 

11. Is Torah in place after the partial return of the Southern Kingdom exile? Yes! Nehemiah 9:32  ” ‘Now therefore, our God, great, mighty, fearsome God, who keeps both covenant and grace: let not all this suffering seem little to you that has come on us, our kings, our leaders, our cohanim, our prophets, our ancestors, and on all your people, from the times of the kings of Ashur until this very day. 

Neh 9:33  There is no question that you are just in all that has come upon us; for you have treated us fairly. It is we who have acted wickedly. 

Neh 9:34  Our kings, our leaders, our cohanim and ancestors did not keep your Torah, pay attention to your mitzvot or heed the warnings you gave them. 

12. What is the heart of the fathers? The Torah. The Great Day of the Lord

Mal 4:1  For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. 

Mal 4:2  But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. 

Mal 4:3  And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts. 

Mal 4:4  Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. 

Mal 4:5  Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: 

Mal 4:6  And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. 

The hearts of the fathers and the children is the Torah. Yeshua Jesus is called the Living Word of God. He shall smite the earth on that great and terrible day where no one wants to remember the law of Moses…the written word of God.

13. What is the prophetic ministry of Yeshua Jesus? Exo 24:7  And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient. 14. Yeshua defines what the term ‘brother’ means. Luke 8-20-21 Luk 8:20  And it was told him by certain which said, Thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to see thee. 

Luk 8:21  And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.

This is very powerful. In these last of days when we are in a two-year plague, who is applying the Torah to their lives? I say, many have moved back to the Torah. In the last year we have even see the founders of TBN interviewing rabbis and letting us sit at their feet. This is prophecy unfolding before our eyes as TBN is worldwide. People want to RETURN and they are doing it via REPENTANCE.

15 Did Christ Come to Fulfill the Law or complete it?

Mat 5:17  “Don’t think that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete. 

Mat 5:18  Yes indeed! I tell you that until heaven and earth pass away, not so much as a yud ( י ) or a stroke will pass from the Torah—not until everything that must happen has happened. 

King James Bible underwritten by a king chained to the church pew for profit…with indulgences and penance included paying to light candles for the dead. The Book of James is actually the Book of Joshua (Yeshua’s brother).

Mat 5:17  Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Mat 5:18  For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 

Mat 5:19  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Joh 15:10  If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love. 

Joh 5:45  Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. 

Joh 5:46  For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. 

Joh 5:47  But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words? 

Wow…this is powerful. Moses instructions wrote about the one man that could be perfect and walk out the life of perfection…designed in The Torah. If we don’t believe in Moses instructions (which are from God) then we won’t believe Jesus’ words either.

Christians wear ‘WWJD’ bracelets when it could be Do What Yeshua Did…the Torah. He is the Living Torah that is returning again to ‘complete’ business. He is the ‘greatest in the kingdom and qualifies to be our teacher. His instructions have always been a joy and not a burden.

This will be continued as we have not yet touched the Book of Galatians. We have set the basic of Torah so we know what Paul was and was not teaching. I close as the Sabbath Terumah 2022 begins. It means contribution starting the Torah Parshah 19 with Exodus 25:1-27:19 being taught all over our earth…by those honoring the Torah.

I have a wedding to attend on this day as a young Baptist couple marry. They will marry with these Scriptures surrounding them and yet they will NOT now because their pastor believes it’s not for today…nothing OT is for today but of course we can learn from their stories.

Contributions for the Sanctuary

Exo 25:2  “Tell the people of Isra’el to take up a collection for me—accept a contribution from anyone who wholeheartedly wants to give. 

Well, isn’t this something. We have a bride and bridegroom coming together in their church beautifully decorated with three hanging and beautiful flowers. The tables represent the tables the bride will sit at learning the Torah. Her bridegroom comes for her. At this time on our earth there are collections being made to build The Temple in Jerusalem.

May our Creator accept our heart contributions as we look for His son’s return. Thank you, Father, for being our Abba…always willing to instruct us. Help us to learn your ways and not lean on our own understanding. Help us to learn REPENTANCE and please forgive us for NOT following the Torah.
