God Invites mankind to Jesus’ REAL birthday!
Elizabeth and Zachariah’s birth of John is but one way to see Yeshua/Jesus ‘First Coming’ on Tishrei 15. The Fall Feasts see the Hebrew King Yeshua’s ‘Second Coming’. The Feast of Trumpets, Day of Atonement, Feast of Tabernacles and Shemini Atzeret are yet to be fulfilled. Tishrei 1 memorializes The Feast of Trumpets. Tishrei 10 Yom Kippur is a fast declared by the LORD. Tishrei 15-21 memorializes The Feast of Tabernacles also known as, Sukkot. Tishrei 22 memorializes Shemini Atzeret representing the ‘New Heaven and Earth in the ‘eight day.’
Luke 1:5, 8, 9 Zacharias was of the Course of Abijah to serve in The Temple. I Chron 24:1, 2, 10, 19 tells about the divisions of the sons of Aaron and how they executed the priests office…the eighth to Abijah, 19. “These were the orderings of them in their service to come into the house of the LORD.” The priests served two weeks out of the year. Zechariah was now in his second consecutive week serving the Temple because they all had to serve at Shavuot. Thus, John is conceived in Tammuz and nine months later he is born at Passover, Nissan 14. Yeshua would then be born six months later which is ,The Feast of Tabernacles, Tishrei 15.
On Shemini Atzeret (Shemini means, eight), Tishrei 22, Yeshua was in Jerusalem being circumcised (b’rit-milah) and given his name, Yeshua. Shim’on blessed him and the prophetess Hannah, also at the Temple, proclaimed him as Yerushalayim’s liberator. Luke 2:21-35
Luke 1:23,24 After those days of serving he departed to his house, Elizabeth conceived…and hid herself five months. Her five months of hiding would have been Cheshvan 17 to Kislev, Tevet, Shevat, Adar, ending Nissan 14-17. (This also lines up with Noach in ark Cheshvan 10 (protected from world) and flood begins Cheshvan 17. Noach is lifted up 150 days (five months) with waters holding him 22.5′ above Mt. Ararat.) Noach is a picture of Elizabeth’s pregnancy that hides the one that announces The Redeemer. Noach one-year trip proclaims The Lord’s Feasts which is totally about The Messiach’s coming. Noach and Yochanan are both forerunners to bringing The Messiach.
Luke 1:26,35,36 In the sixth month angel Gabriel talks to Mary and also tells her that Elizabeth is in her sixth month of pregnancy. Mary immediately goes to see Elizabeth. Luke 1:56 Mary abode with her about three months. Six months later Jesus is born.
ALSO….Two million Jews were headed to Jerusalem for The Feast of Booths/Tabernacles, which is always celebrated in the 7th month, Tishrei 15-21. It was convenient for Rome to tax them when they knew the Hebrews would all be in one location.
ALSO….Scripture shows that Solomon had The Temple completed on Nissan 1, but God would not occupy it. God keeps choosing Tishrei 15 to dwell with man just as the word ‘succot’ implies.
ALSO, Noach takes the cover off the ark on Tishrei 1 in preparation to dwell upon the earth.
ALSO, Moses came back from getting the second set of instructions along with the thirteen attributes of Yah’s name on Tishrei 10, Yom Kippur. Five days later, Tishrei 15, Mosche built the tabernacle that would lead them through the next forty years in the desert. Liken this to Elizabeth hiding for five months and then would produce Yochanan, the ‘little Mosche’, that proclaims not just the written Torah, but also the Living Torah…named, Yeshua.
Yochanan and Mosche both would live in succot/booths. They even kept their animals in succots just as Yeshua was born in a succot and was laid in a cattle trough. Succot is not a ‘winter’ feast but at ‘fall’ harvest when it’s nice to sleep under the stars, trusting G-d to watch the sheep.
Is our Creator showing us a time period that the earth just might shake, and yet the only thing that will fall on His kids are some sticks that hold up the sukkot? Earthquakes happen in the great and terrible Day of the Lord and in wars and rumors of wars.
The first and last day of the Sukkot festival are ‘High Sabbath’ days; Tishrei 15 and 21. Even in our ‘rest’ we are showing acts of obedience. He created the first week and then commanded Adom to rest on the seventh day. Tishrei was month one before Mosche. Nissan also became a month one as they passed over coming out of Egypt. Therefore, Tishrei is also month seven, the month of REST. Three festivals in Tishrei draw man away from the world to REST.
The world is completing its 6th day (6000th year) and our Creator G-d wants to rest with us during the 7th day (1000 years). Shemini Atzeret is the 8th day representing our new beginning when the New Heaven and Earth arrive.
2 Chronicles 5:1a, 3, 11-14 All the work Solomon made for the house of the Lord was finished…in the feast in the seventh month…and the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God. 2 Chronicles 7:1,2,9 ….the glory of the LORD filled the house. (This verse is after Mosche and thus it is pointing to Tishrei (October) as being the seventh month.)
John 7:2, 14, 37, 38 “But the festival of Sukkot in Y’hudah was near, so his brothers said to him,..” 14. “Not until the festival was half over did Yeshua go up to the Temple courts and begin to teach.” 37. Now the last day of the festival, Hoshana Rabbah, Yeshua stood and cried out, “If any man is thirsty, let him keep coming to me and drinking!”
These are the Lords Feasts…not Israel’s feasts. They are for all men into the future…..
Zechariah 14:19 “This will be Egypt’s punishment and the punishment of all the nations that don’t go up to keep the festival of Sukkot.“
The Lord does call us to memorialize His FIRST Coming, and witness His SECOND Coming!
