The Depth of Yasher 34 – Two Witnesses

THIRTY-FOUR Speaks of Comfort

3+4 = 7 The LORD is COMFORT!

Coincidence or Confirmation

Exo 34:9  and said, “If I have now found favor in your view, Adonai, then please let Adonai go with us, even though they are a stiff-necked people; and pardon our offenses and our sin; and take us as your possession.”

The Covenant Renewed

Exo 34:10  He said, “Here, I am making a covenant; in front of all your people I will do wonders such as have not been created anywhere on earth or in any nation. All the people around you will see the work of Adonai. What I am going to do through you will be awesome!

Exo 34:11  Observe what I am ordering you to do today. Here! I am driving out ahead of you the Emori, Kena`ani, Hitti, P’rizi, Hivi and Y’vusi.

Exo 34:12  Be careful not to make a covenant with the people living in the land where you are going, so that they won’t become a snare within your own borders.

Is this a repeat of history? What timeline is this? Yes, It is after Ya’cov came away from the ‘slaughter’ of the town of Shechem. Two sons, Shimon, and Levi, lead the charge against the entire town. What did the town do? It did not save a young Hebrew girl from being stolen from her family. It believed first in assimilation to later plans for annihilation.

The Hamas Gazans are being charged with the same sin today. October 7, 8 and 9 2023 (22, 23, 24 Tishrei 5784) first came the violence of mutilating bodies and then came the Gazans (even in wheelchairs) to plant bombs even inside the dead Hebrews dead bodies as booby traps. Bomb sniffing dogs had to go first to clear homes where bombs were even set in baby cribs where the burned baby lay. If there is anything horrific you can imagine, they said just imagine the worse than that. Body parts were cut off (private organs) thrown so only DNA recognized which body it went to for burial. The long duration to respectfully recover the dead was endured through the smell of death and mortar. The carnage left by Simeon and Levi was nothing like the carnage of The October 7 Shemini Atzeret War.

The Jewish take their name from The Tribe of Judah…and now we can see why.

It is Judah that stands up for these two brothers. He chastises his father Ya’cov for not doing more. Judah claims that it is YHWH that gave ‘TWO’ success which now put fear in all the other cities. If that is what just TWO can do, just think what Ya’cov’s entire family could do was the fear!

Consistency is YHWH’s form of communication.

Yes, cleansing to survive takes faith in Elohim (God).

Ya’cov was a man out to protect his children of whom gave half of his wealth in appeasement to his already rich twin brother Esau when trying to Settle in The Land. So, what is a child’s life worth? To Ya’cov, he would have given it all. Just as our Father gave all in coming to our earth to die for the penalty of our sin.

Exo 34:15  Do not make a covenant with the people living in the land. It will cause you to go astray after their gods and sacrifice to their gods. Then they will invite you to join them in eating their sacrifices, (to: Allah)

Exo 34:16  and you will take their daughters as wives for your sons. Their daughters will prostitute themselves to their own gods and make your sons do the same!

Exo 34:17  “Do not cast metal gods for yourselves.

So, why does YHWH have history repeat itself?

What does the festival of matzah represent? What did the last plague to Pharaoh represent? Yes, what did the blood wiped on their doorposts that formed the shape of the TAV mean? What type of communication is this? Yes, everything YHWH does from the time of Adam pushed every creature to be without excuse in knowing The Seed. Even Noach being lifted on wood 22′ above the highest mountain on the earth would pattern to The Tabernacle entrance being 22′ high. Yes, in year 2022 we saw the Shemittah cycle declaring The House / Temple as firstborn’s temples were violated with many dying in our worldwide plague caused by man himself….and not yet even avenged for it. Yes, wombs were sloughing off as men’s organs swelled and could not breed. We were like Abimelech house that was barren as a judgment by YHWH for taking Abraham and Isaac’s wives. He did not learn his lesson the first time and continued to use the violation of woman for his purpose of shaming who did not follow him.

But what does ELOHIM say:

Exo 34:18  “Keep the festival of matzah by eating matzah, as I ordered you, for seven days during the month of Aviv; for it was in the month of Aviv that you came out from Egypt.

Exo 34:19  “Everything that is first from the womb is mine. Of all your livestock, you are to set aside for me the males, the firstborn of cattle and flock.

God claims the firstborn of all things. It is He that opens the womb and brings forth. Their dedication to him shows the attitude of those parents dedicating all their children to The LORD.

Let’s look at the writing of Yasher (Jasher). Chapter 34 is the theme of this writing. We even see Chapter 35 as The Blessing chapter as they win against all their enemies because Ya’cov ask YHWH to put His fear in them.

3 + 4 = 7. The depth of God is perfect timing with a perfect language. Without the Hebrew language we make a muck of life. When we pray without ceasing (always having God on our mind), we can move into his form of communication. Even the Chief’s winning 17 – 7 speaks a million signals to our world. Seven is the number for God’s Comfort. YHWH moves on The Sabbath to keep us ‘seeing Him real’ in our lives. Sabbath was made for man. It is made for us to seek to be kind to each other through which God is seen by the hurting.

Why did Diynah get raped? Why is Israel still being raped? Why is suffering allowed?

How else does Hebrews 11 make sense. They each had the opportunity to show their TRUST. Now, let’s look at Yasher Chapter 34. Yes, it equals seven. I did not know that it would follow the protocols of the past and now our current events. Do I stand in AWE? Yes, because even in the chapter numbers that were added later to the scriptures, YHWH’s hand seen in them.

It is not superstition, but it looks to the genius of our Creator who cares deeply about everyone on this planet…. so, none should perish… but become part of the covenant laid out before us through this dad called Ya’cov… who got mad at two sons for bringing not only 10,000 from two cities against them, but now many cities stood before them wanting to annihilate them. Assimilation was no longer the plan. Yes, this story revealed in Yasher gives us the extra details that shows their dad Ya’cov, whose name has even been changed to Israel at this happening…. Where does faith come from? From these real stories that need to be remembered so FAITH can stand on our earth… so all enemies can stand in AWE of our Creator who began this story of redemption. No one is without excuse because the Hebrew alphabet confirms The Plan. There is nothing new under the sun as Solomon declared. He had it all and yet was a depressed man as he left The Torah hidden. Manasseh had it burned and yet Josiah revived it and had the largest Pesach (Seder) than even Solomon first observed. Yes, there were more people in The Kingdom, so it was much larger. Yet, it was Solomon’s mother Bathsheba that guided him in his early years and warned him in his later years how joining with other nations through his many marriages was not good.

Proverbs 30, Oh that I may not be so rich that I forget you (and he did). And that I not be so poor that I embarrass you.

Pro 30:9  for if I have too much, I might deny you and say, “Who is Adonai?” And if I am poor, I might steal and thus profane the name of my God.

17+17 = 34 – Ya’cov had his favored son Joseph for 17 years before his jealous brothers sold him out. They wanted to kill him, but a few talked them out of it. When Rueben came to retrieve him, he was gone.

Pro 30:11  There is a type of people who curse their fathers and don’t bless their mothers.

Pro 30:12  There is a type of people clean in their own view, but not cleansed from their filth.

When we don’t know The Father, we curse him. We live in our filth doing what we think is right in our own eyes.

Rachel scorned her father even leaving without saying goodbye. She was a thief in stealing his gold that was poured on figures. She was a liar denying her part in taking his possessions and she lied about the fact that she could not get up because of her period. She had to be pregnant with Binyamin. She had a curse put on her because she did not TRUST God. Ya’cov had said for her to go to ADONAI if she wanted a baby because he had done his part. It was her relationship that ADONAI that was the problem. God heard her request and she had conceived.  Yet, she cursed herself with no respect. Ya’cov did not know she had taken the idols.  He loved her deeply and would not have pronounced death upon her. Yet, his words came true as we see her dying after delivering this baby. Ya’cov was not at the birthing as he was returning his mother Rebecca to his father Isaac who was not well. Ya’cov’s trip took time as he delivered flocks to them to save them from a famine. Rebecca had arrived to see all his family at Shav’uot. He then escorted her home to his father Isaac.

After Ya’cov found the idols, he buried them under a tree. Rachel considered them her inheritance that her father owed her.

Pro 30:17  The eye that mocks his father and scorns obeying his mother will be pecked out by the ravens in the valley, and the vultures will eat it.

There is no real grave site of pomp and stance found in Israel for Rachel. It is half marked in thinking that is where she was buried outside Hebron. It is Leah that rests with Yacov at The McPhelah Memorial (guarded by Arabs).

Pro 30:21  Three things make the earthquake, four things it can’t bear—

Pro 30:22  a slave who becomes king, a boor gorged with food,

Yeshua is that slave that will become earth’s king.

The Hamas leaders in their palaces and other leaders in underground tunnels have left their Hamas Gazans’ to being shot at and buildings falling on them.

Interviewed Gazans feel betrayed and want Israel to stay and get rid of Hamas. (reported January 31, 2024)

Pro 30:23  a hated [wife] when her husband takes her [back], and a slave-girl who inherits from her mistress.

When a wife leaves (even mentally) making accusations against her husband, can it ever be the same? It seems not!

Sarah felt the shame her own emotions brought upon her marriage in not trusting God with a child. Then the slave girl Hagar had to be sent away. Ishmael today must be sent away because he does not want to agree with his father Abraham’s choice dictated by YHWH. Ishmael was circumcised at age 12. They do follow Avraham in the flesh.

Today we circumcise our hearts. If our hearts are right, then we will circumcise our flesh. My father was German and was not circumcised in his flesh. It caused health issues, which later he was circumcised. I remember him staying in bed.

It takes faith today for Jewish parents to circumcise their sons. In the Holocaust all they had to do was pull down their pants and they knew the faith of the parents had moved unto the children. Yes, a step of faith that this world is not our goal but to honor the ways of Abraham, Isaac and Ya’cov to which The Land was promised is today’s testimony.

Yasher 34:1 AND the number of all males that were circumcised, were six hundred and forty-five men (645), and two hundred and forty-six (46) children.

34:2 But Chiddekem, son of Pered, the father of Chamor, and his six (6) brothers, would not listen unto Shekem and his father Chamor, and they would not be circumcised, for the proposal of the sons of Ya’cov was loathsome in their sight, and their anger was greatly aroused at this, that the people of the city had not hearkened to them.

34:3 And in the evening of the second day, they found eight (8) small children who had not been circumcised, for their mothers had concealed them from Shekem and his father Chamor, and from the men of the city. (6+8 =14 uncircumcised)

The swelling of these 891 males was great by day two. Their strength was zapped from them.

They agreed to this circumcision so they could assimilate with all of Abraham’s lineage even to Isaac.

Yes, it would be the jealous women who got mad and would not agree to this crazy notion of going against what their forefathers declared. It was these same women who did not defend Diynah from being raped by the number one son.

Today, we see radical Islamic mothers use their children as sacrifices to Allah and to benefit their families financially while on this earth. These radical mothers are proud to train up their children to a death god that teaches torture with rape.

The focus is always on The Bride. Israel is YHWH’s bride. She can NOT fornicate with the world. She can NOT assimilate into the ways of the world. The Torah is to be established through living it out. If the other cities challenge this premise, they have challenged YHWH. This is the political seen in the spiritual.

This is a brother against brother fight. Chiddekem and Chamor are both sons of Pered. Their remaining six brothers come to scare Chamor and Shekem that the Kena’amiym will come tomorrow and ask what they did.

(We are at year 6000 in history with the Islamics asking the same thing among themselves.)

Ham Intimates Shekem

Hamas Intimates God’s Bride!

Yasher 34:8-10 And if your act shall not appear just and good in their sight, what will you do for your lives, and me for our lives, in your not having hearkened to our voices? And if the inhabitants of the land and all your brethren the children of Cham, shall hear of your act, saying on account of an Ivriy (Hebrew) woman did Shekem and Chamor his father, and all the inhabitants of their city, do that with which they had been unacquainted and which their ancestors never commanded them, where then will you fly or where conceal your shame, all your days before your brethren, the inhabitant of the land of Kena’an?

The Land is not the problem here. Today, it is not about The Land either. It has always been about elimination.

Ya’cov will leave after forty years to find a wife. Esau marries Kanaanite women and he also marries into the Ishmael line to secure that lineage. He was like Cain and Nimrod, kingdom builder.

Ya’cov draws closer to home after acquiring wives who have loved him for over 20 years. Israel today has acquired many bridesmaids who want to be part of the wedding party. In 2020 a shift happened as a presidency was stolen. Evil rose up and changed the rules that sent aide to Israel’s enemies. President Trump finished 2020 as did Ya’cov finish 20 years with Laven…. both being manipulated men in their time in history. Trump and Ya’cov had wealth and almost lost it all.

2021 and year 21 from Laven were critical years with the rules changing.

When Israel became a nation in 1948 the Arabs started an organization in 1949 called, The United Nations. These Islamic leaders allowed a few countries to sit, listen and vote only because they helped pay the bills. When you are a genocide group you generate money through sympathy. Arabs got rich with oil and China got rich with stealing technology. Both abuse human rights.

At this account from Yasher there is no little David killing off giants with the name Philistines. In fact, there is no such name as Palestinian in God’s Word. So, who are these Gazans? We know that wars are created for the purpose of annihilating the Ivrites (Hebrews). Trans-Jordan had a few thousand refugees of which Israel accepted into their society. Except they were Cham and demanded their own state after bus bombings, stabbings and raping Israsli’s. PM Sharon independently handed them Gaza throwing Ya’cov’s kids out burning down their homes after them in 2005. He will lie in a coma for many years where they finally pull his plug.

Let’s look to see who these leaders are followers of Cham. Let us not forget that Nimrod was on the earth, and it is Esau that is reported to have killed him. And, as Esau thought his life was now going to end with Nimrod’s guards chasing him, he rushed to give up his birthright to Ya’cov.

Yes, Esau, the hunter, did not die. Nimrod’s guards were not sad but happy about his death. They did not chase Esau. Esau has himself to blame. And it is his sons that almost kill their father for him not wanting to come against his brother Ya’cov. Esau and Ya’cov came together with Ishmael to bury their father, Abraham. They had promised Abraham that they would be at peace with each other. Yet, we see it is the ‘generations’ that carry the bitterness and resentment of their father’s decisions.

Yet in Esau’s real world, he got Abraham’s inheritance because Ya’cov left. And he took it from his own father. His children turned Grandpa Isaac into a poor man.

2186 AM – Binyamin is born when Ya’cov is returning from taking his mother Rebecca back home to his father Isaac with many animals to help them through hard times. He is a good son returning from Laven in time to save his own mother, Laven’s sister Rebecca.  Esau abused the entire family. Isaac and Rebecca were not taken care of by Esau. This is another example of violating God’s instruction of honoring parents which was taught to them by Shem.

When Ya’cov returns, he finds Binyamin born with the name, son of my sorrows. On the eighth day he circumcises him with the name Binyamin (son of strength).

Yasher 34:24 And twenty (20) young men had concealed themselves that were not circumcised, and these young men fought against Shim’on and Leviy, and Shim’on and Leviy killed eighteen of them, and two fled from them and escaped to some lime pits that were in the city, and Shim’on and Leviy sought for them, but could not find them.

34:25-26 And Shim’on and Leviy continued to go about in the city, and they killed all the people of the city at the edge of the sword, and they left none remaining. And there was a great consternation in the midst of the city, and the cry of the people of the city ascended to heaven, and all the woman and children cried aloud.

And they slew Chamor and Shekem and brought Diynah from the house of Shekem and they went from there. The sons of Ya’cov went to the city and spoiled all the property which was in the city and in the fields.

34:30 And while they were taking the spoil, three hundred (300) men stood up and threw dust at them and struck them with stones, while Shim’on turned to them and he slew them all with the edge of the sword, and Shim’on turned before Leviy, and came into the city.

34:31 And they took away their sheep and their oxen and their cattle, and also the remainder of the woman and little ones, and they led all these away, and they opened a gate and went out and unto their father Ya’acov with vigour.

34:32 And when Ya’acob saw all of they had done to the city and the spoil that they took from them, Ya’cov was very angry at them, and Ya’acov said unto them, What is this that you have done to me? Behold I obtained rest amongst the Kena’aniy inhabitants of the land, and none of them meddled with me.

34:33 And now you have done to make me obnoxious to the inhabitants of the land, amongst the Kena’anium and the Perizziym, and I am but a small number, and they will all assemble against me and slay me when they hear of your work with their brethren, and I and my house will be destroyed.

34:34 And Shim’on and Leviy and all their brothers with them answered their father and said unto him, Behold we live in the land, and shall Shekem do this to our sister? Why are you silent at all that Shekem has done? And shall he deal with our sister as with a harlot in the streets?

34:35 And the number of women whom Shim’on and Leviy took captives from the city of Shekem, whom they did not slay, was eighty-five (85) of whom had not known a man.

34:36 And amongst them was a young damsel of beautiful appearance and well favored, whose name was Bun’ah and Shim’on took her for a woman, and the number of males which they took captives and did not slay was forty-seven men, and the rest they slew.

34:37 And all the young men and women that Shim’on and Levy had taken from the city of Shekem, were servants to the sons of Ya’acov and to their children after them, until the day of the sons of Ya’cov going forth from the land of Mitsrayim (Egypt).

The two of the group of the first twenty that got away from Shim’on and Leviy came into that city and gave witness to the carnage that just two men did. It was so unbelievable that the king of Tapnach sent his own servants to check out the entire loss of even cattle and sheep from Shechem.

34:49-51 And all the kings of the Emoriym heard the evil that the sons of Ya’cov had done to the city of Shekem, and they were greatly astonished at them. And the seven (7) kings of the Emoriym assembled with all their armies, about ten thousand men with drawn swords, and they came to fight against the sons of Ya’cov; and Ya’cov heard that the kings had assembled against his sons, and Ya’cov was greatly afraid, and it distressed him. And Ya’cov exclaimed against Shim’on and Leviy, saying, What is this act that you did? Why have you injured me, to bring against me and my household, and you have done this thing to me, and provoked the inhabitants of the land against me by your proceedings.

34:52 And Yahudah answered his father, saying Was it for nought my brothers Shim’on and Leviy killed all the inhabitants of Shekem? Surely, it was because Shekem had humbled our sister, and transgressed the command of our ELOHIIUM to Noach and his children, for Shekem took our sister away by force, and broke wedlock with her.

53 And Shekem did all this evil and not one of the inhabitants of his city interfered with him, to say, Why will you do this? Surely for this my brothers went and smote the city, and YAHUAH delivered it into their hands, because its inhabitants had transgressed the command of our ELOHIYM. Is it then for naught that they have done all this?

54 And now why are you afraid or distressed, and why are you displeased at my brothers, and why is your anger kindled against them?

55 Surely our ELOHIYM who delivered into their hand the city of Shekem and its people, he will also deliver into our hands all the Kena’aniy kings who are coming against us, and we will do unto them as what my brothers did unto Shekem.

56 Now be tranquil about them and cast away your fears, but trust in YAHUAH ELOHAYNU , and pray unto him to assist us to deliver us, and deliver our enemies into our hands.

57 And Yahudah called to one of his father’s servants, Go now and see where those kings, who are coming against us, are situated with their armies.

58 And the servant went and looked far off and went up opposite Mount Ciychon and saw all the camps of the kings standing in the fields, and he returned to Yahudah and said, Behold the kings are situated in the field with all their camps, a people exceedingly numerous, like unto the sand upon the seashore.

59 And Yahudah said unto Shim’on and Leviy, and unto all his brothers, Strengthen yourselves and be sons of valour, for YAHUAH ELOHAYNU is with us, do not fear them.

60 Stand forth each man, girt with his weapons of war, his bow and his sword, and we will go and fight against these uncircumcised men. YAHUAH is our ELOHIYM, He will save us.

We see 112 men available for this battle which included Isaac’s men from Hebron. Ya’cov was with them. He prayed to YHWH.

To avoid copyright laws I suggest you read Yasher 34-35 yourselves. What a powerful story that fills in the details of FAITH from the sons of a simple shepherd boy who only wanted to flee and hide. Yet, it is Yahudah that the Jews will now be named after. Even when we get closer to the kings dividing up the land into four segments, we see it is a Yahudah Macabee that rises with sons that push forward to bring God’s presence back to the earth.

Today, Israel is approaching a Sabbath. It is when things pop again and it is Shevat 24 beginning tonight, February 2, 2024. The Israeli soldiers are worn but not out yet. The greatest battle seems to be our world. They do NOT fear the enemy. They know these stories and fight for the righteous ways to be planted on our earth. Read Zechariah 1-3 as we are in that time… Even Ezra is speaking of building back the walls of Jerusalem exactly at this time on the Hebrew calendar. No one will stop what YHWH has ordained.

I pray that these Zechariah horsemen report back God’s miracles for Israel. Let’s close this report with Ya’cov’s prayer which did turn back thousands upon thousands ready to destroy 112 warriors for The LORD.

Let us pray that our enemies will retreat…. lest they too die. The Bride is Israel and she will remain as her groom will not let her be violated. He will wipe out all the earth for her.

And the sons of Ya’cov had word sent to Grandfather Isaac to pray for us unto YAHUAH ELOHAYNU to protect us from the hands of the Kena’anium who are coming against us, and to delivery them into our hands.

65 And Yitschaq the son of Avraham prayed unto YAHUAH for his sons, and he said, “O YAHUAH ELOHAYNU, you did promise my father, saying, I will multiply our seed as the stars of heaven and you did also promise me, and establish you your word, now that the kings of Kena’an are coming together, to make war with my children because they committed no violence.

66 Now, therefore YAHUAH ELOHIYM, the ELOHIYM of the whole earth, pervert, I pray you the counsel of these kings that they may not fight against my sons.

67 And impress the hearts of these kings and their people with the terror of my sons and bring down their pride, and that they may turn away from my sons

68 And with your strong hand and outstretched arm deliver my sons and their servant from them, for power and might are in your hands to do all this.

69 And the sons of Ya’cov and their servants went toward these kings, and they trusted in YAHUAH ELOHAYHEM, and while they were going, Ya’cov their father also prayed unto YAHUAH and said, O YAHUAH ELOHIYIM powerful and exalted ELOHIYM, who has reigned from days of old, from thence till now and forever.

70 You are He who stirs up wars and causes them to cease, in your hand are power and might to exalt and to bring down; O may my prayer be acceptable before you that you may turn to me with your mercies, to impress the hearts of these kings and their people with terror of my sons, and terrify them and their camps, and with your great kindness deliver all those that trust in you, for it is you who can bring people under us and reduce nations under our power.

I love Chapter 35 – It is a pattern to Daniel’s prophecy that if you can make it to the 1335 days there is blessing. I stand in awe as we see it here as well. Yasher 35 opens with the kings of the nation’s coming and reminding themselves of how with just two men the entire area of Shekem was destroyed. This type of thing was not seen since the days of Nimrod they discuss. And they go one reminding themselves of how Esau with his 400 men walked away from Ya’cov.

They decided not to take joy in their own destruction.

35:6 Surely, he delivered their father Avraham, the Ivriy, from the hand of Nimrod, and from the hand of all his people who had many times sought to slay him.

7 He delivered him also from the fire in which king Nimrod had cast him, and his ELOHIYM delivered him from it.

8 And who else can do the like? Surely it was Avraham who slew the five kings of Eylam, when they had touched his brother’s son who in those days dwelt in Sodom.

9 And took his servant that was faithful in his house and a few of his men, and they pursued the kings of Eylam in one night and killed them and restored to his brother’s son all his property which had been taken from him.

11 And behold through his love toward his ELOYHIYM, Avraham took his only and precious son and intended to bring him up as a burnt offering to his ELOYHIYM, and had it not been for ELOYHIYM who prevented him from doing this, he would then have done it through his love to his ELOYHIYM.

12 And ELOYHIYM saw all his works, and swore unto him, and promised him that he would deliver his sons and all his seed from every trouble that would befall them, because he had done third thing, and through his love to his ELOYHIYM stifled his compassion for his child.

13 And have you not heard what their ELOHIYM did to Phar’oh king of Mitzrayim, and to Aviymelek king of Gerar, through taking Avraham’s woman, who said of her, She is my sister, lest they might slay him on account of her, and think of taking her for a woman? And ELOHIYM did unto them and their people all that you heard of.

14 About Esau with 400 men.

These kings heard the words of the advisers and agreed that The God of Abraham, Isaac and Ya’cov was upon this small group of people.

35:24 For this proceeded for YAHUAH to them, for he heard the prayers of his servants Yitschaq and Ya’cov, for they trusted in him, and all these kings returned with their camps on that day, each to his own city, and they did not at that time fight with the sons of Ya’cov.

This is likened to The Seder that Yeshua Jesus told us to do ‘in remembrance of Him.’ We are told to remember and tell these storeis, so our children know ADONAI is real.

We have a living God who acts according to our acts. In repentance we come to Him declaring Him King of the earth. YHWH can not break His covenants with the earth.

Psalms 34:2-5 - Complete Jewish Bible Comment

Is not Christ here strongly featured? Did not Yeshua Jesus seek to the Lord, when, in the days of his flesh, he cried, and was heard in that he feared? Here then we find Christ. And what inference doth the Apostle make from this view of Christ? Why (saith he) he became the author of eternal salvation unto all of them that obey him. And being called of God a High Priest, in that he himself hath suffered, being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted. Hebrews 5:7-8; Hebrews 2:17-18.

Psalm 34:4  I sought Adonai, and he answered me; he rescued me from everything I feared.

Psa 34:5  They looked to him and grew radiant; their faces will never blush for shame.

Psa 34:6  This poor man cried; Adonai heard and saved him from all his troubles.

Psa 34:7  The angel of Adonai, who encamps around those who fear him, delivers them.
