NISAN 17 Resurrection Day – 3 days 3 nights: 14, 15, 16

Psalm 19:1  The heavens declare the glory of God, the dome of the sky speaks the work of his hands. 

Day Seven of Creation Adam stood speechless. His skin glowed on his first Sabbath. He would be the measurement for God’s glory to return to earth. Seven thousand years looked to ‘The Sinless Second Adam’ renewing the earth. Heaven’s occupants will NOT be aliens. They have walked the earth before in their own time of renewing their minds. The Cloud of Witnesses return to earth again to walk among men in righteous truth. They offered their lives once and they will offer their services again.

Adam, Noach, Miriam, Isaac saw it…they knew their lives were a mirror to The I AM. The ONE that always was, is and will always be. Ahyar Ashar Ahyar – The Name of God YHWH. And you know His son’s name, too. They are the same. They are ONE. Yeshua and Yeshuah (God)

Psalm 19:2  Every day it utters speech, every night it reveals knowledge. 

Psa 19:3  Without speech, without a word, without their voices being heard,

Adam, Noach, Miriam and Isaac witnessed the sun and moon uttering their witness of being created by God. They all stood in silence and in awe at the blue waters hemming them in and even the rocks they laid their heads on.

Mark 13:26  Then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with tremendous power and glory. 

Mark 13:27 He will send out his angels and gather together his chosen people from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven. 

Adam was promised his children would multiply. Created on Day Six…the number for man..letter ‘vav’ meaning: and, to add.

Noach was promised comfort in disaster. 600 years old at Flood. 601 when off the floating boat. Six Days man created. He will ‘walk’ with God 6000 years. Day Seven man does walk with The Anointed One. I happens again at years 7000-8000 from Adam. Shem is anointed King of Salem known as, Melchizedek.

Isaac was promised land. He was age 37 when Abraham offered him. Isaac is 60 years old having twins Ya’cov & Esau. Genesis 25:26

Miriam was disciplined with leprosy for her disliking his brother Mosch’s Ethiopian wife. Miriam was speechless as she saw her tongue-tied brother standing on that rock in prayer. His silence was evidence of God’s new sign-language, called prayer. Mosch’s mind and heart stayed focused. The people would escape their annilation. They would no longer assimilate.

Adam, Noach, Miriam and Isaac were of one sound mind. There was no need for verbal words as they knew each others thoughts. ‘COME NOW’ for the harvest. They kept their inner person stayed on Adam’s ‘RETURN of The perfect SeeD’. The Servant CAME and does RETURN as King of Kings, THE LIVING WORD Yeshua was anointed on earth and in Heaven.

Psalm 19:7  The Torah of Adonai is perfect, restoring the inner person. The instruction of Adonai is sure, making wise the thoughtless.  (The Torah makes our thoughts wise.)

Adam, Noach, Miriam and Isaac’s thoughts were wrapping around the word ‘lifted’. There was a special tree beheld on the earth whose name would become City of Shalom…Jerusalem. The Tree of The Knowledge of Good and Evil still holds its roots deep into the earth there in 5785.

The deception: Twisting words brought twisted wood.. They could NOT make their words God’s words. No one can undo what God has deemed to occur.

Adam gave them his thoughts. The Gan of Eden’s trees were so beautiful. The trees glistened tall and straight. They had perfect wood having NEVER been pecked by a bird. The Gan of Eden trees would never be cut down. Why? There was no need to repent for anything. Man was designed perfect as were the trees. There was no burning because there was no violating the instructions…yet! Yet, in just SEVEN years Adam and Chanoah were forced out on 2 Tevet. Swinging swords guarded The Gan Eden in Jerusalem. David’s Sling guards Jerusalem in 2025.

Miriam was confirming Noach and Isaac’s thoughts. They were guarding door headers. Men are likened to trees. They are part of ‘restoration and beginnings.’ Adam sacrificed after repenting. Adam left the Gan of Eden on 2 Tevet. It took 42 days of sanctification to get in and 42 days to get out. The violence against the instruction happened on 17 Cheshvan. It was a Month Two Day Seventeen according to Adam’s fall civil calendar.

It would all come flooding in during the 27th jubilee. (50 x 27 – 1335). The Flood year is 1334 according to the precise calculations in The Books of Jubilee. They were warned 120 years before 1334. The Year 1214 is a ‘marker’ of warning of change. It is the 25th jubilee of the earth. In 2025 we see the ‘warnings’ to the earth almost complete with Persia’s modern day Haman’s being defeated. Hamas leaders and Iran leaders celebrate death at their funerals displayed by their world-wide media.

Hezekiah became anointed at age 25 to be king over Israel. At age 50 (jubilee) he was told he would no longer rule. He wept for more years. He was granted to finish a king normal rule of 40 years. After tearing down many altars over the next fifteen years Hezekiah would see his son Manasseh become king. Retiring at age 65 he would be killed as the altars went back up. His father Isaiah by cutting in half by his own grandson. It is a lesson to let leadership fall when it is designed to fall.

Noach sacrificed animals at 2 Tevet when leaving the ark (house).

Adam had eaten freely of The Tree of Life. The Seed, known as ‘The Second Adam’, sprouts up. Yeshua Jesus is called a ‘Green Tree’ nourished by living water (The Torah). Adam’s ‘Tree of Life’ represented Yeshua. God in the flesh was now walking among men whereas Adam walked with The Voice of God.

Adam knew this depth of language was called the ‘sod level’ of understanding. Adam named everything so he knew sod meant grass. He new God’s ‘sod level’ was meant to look deeper at the plans of God.

Understanding YHWH was easier in heaven as there was but one language to speak. The depth of a topic could go into more than 70 levels. Adam’s thoughts went deeper and deeper into patterns that persuaded them that it was all true.

What was truth? Isaac reminded them that is was about the color crimson. In heaven all concurred that wood was an earthly item that people poured gold on. In Heaven, their city gleamed of gold. It is not as pure as God is but it helped with the pattern of purity. Who was tried in the fire? Yes, RED now overtook gold. The Messiach’s covering of red had to come first on earth. Wood was earth which deteriorated without gold.

On earth gold was stored on wood. These items could became idols as they held a person’s wealth. Passover took wood and changed it to the color red. The door frame takes the form of the letter Tav. It means covenant. The Father actually took wood in the shape of the word Covenant and placed himself on it. It was an incredible picture from Heaven never before understood on earth. Isaac now got very quiet. He now understood what his own life patterned. And, his was just a sampling of ‘letting go’ of what God gives…LIFE. He did not suffer as what would happen in that same open spot to the Son of Man.

The Promise to The Seed was confirmed to Miriam as she ate lamb under The Letter Tav. We all died to self that night she told them. Isaac agreed as he himself was replaced with a ram’s blood placed on wood. Adam, Noach, Isaac and Miriam all agreed they each had been involved with The Resurrection Tree. Yeshua Jesus’ pressure on The Mount of Olives was foreshadowed by Adam’s Tree of Life. The truth of The Tree of Life now glowed in their minds. The foreshadows and post shadows danced throughout the atmosphere of the universe. It was a HalleluYAH moment for each of them.

Noach’s Ark floating above the earth in that exact spot was a ‘Shadow of Salvation’ for mankind. The Markers of Wood through their history would continue to be marked by many things. Men are known as trees. All are ‘burnt’ up. Where do their ashes go? Where do their spirits go?

The Purpose of Nisan 10 was to choose The Lamb. First, man is to choose a perfect lamb because Yeshua is the perfect lamb. He was chosen on Day 10. He was the first lamb slaughtered before any other lamb at 3:00 pm on 14 Nisan. The skies went dark for three hours, noon to three. They could not even see to slaughter their lamb the afternoon of Day Fourteen. Everything had to be in perfect order. That is what ‘Seder’ means: Order.

The Purpose of Nisan 1 was to establish a month for The Chosen Lamb of God to die in the exact location as patterned with Isaac. Exodus 40:1 You are to set up the tabernacle. Exodus 40:17 “On the first day of the first month of the second year, the tabernacle was set up.”

It took one year exactly to complete it. Miriam knew her two brothers were told to make another Month One. They had a fall Month One that Adam observed. All four of them had seen their lives revolve around months. These monthly themes or patterns were so as not to miss The Second Seed known as The Son of Man. Daniel would see it. John would see it. They both knew history had to pass them by for the ‘last generation’ to ‘Behold’ it.

This new Month One was designated with a ‘coming’ theme. The New Tabernacle coming Day Eight appeased Adam. Adam’s Gan of Eden experience lasted seven years. It was to pattern to men ruling over earth for 7000 years.

In order to make a ‘One Day’ event Adam, knew it would be one thousand years according to Heaven’s count.

Yes, Adam would be honored to walk the earth once again. No foreign entities would disrupt it… except for at its closure. The entire earth would be renewed to its original state as The Serpent is bound during that time. Yet, people would reject parts of The Torah just as Adam had choice and fell from his ‘instructions’.

The last generation will have a last moment in time where The Deceiver will be let out. If Adam lived to 930 years in disastrous times, he would be shorted 70 disastrous years. This pattern shows us the timing of 70 years of evil again released closing year 7000. It will happen at the earth’s 8000th year which is 160 jubilees. (50 into 8000 = 160)

Miriam sung her praises in Hebrew. Language and words have built and destroyed nations. The foreigners and strangers coming out of Egypt reminded themselves of Nimrod. He built Babylon on one language. YHWH mixed up the languages so man could not build one nation. The earth is to have many nations with many leaders.

They were to quit building pride in their lives by building their own dynasty. They made their names popular by naming cities after themselves. They were to be known by clans. The more Torah they followed the more blessing they would see. Honoring The Lord’s Feasts points to honoring YHWH. His ways are not our ways. Submitting to His ways allows Him to work through generations of righteous people.

Miriam’s ‘evil speech’ caused her body to turn white. Her brother Aharon was awarded white linen while she was awarded white sores. Would Miriam RETURN with The Cloud of Witnesses? She qualified herself to walk among mankind in leprosy. She did return to camp after seven days. Yet, she continues to be an example of murmuring against YHWH’s chosen.

They all agreed in thought with Psalm 19:4 – The son will come from under the sun for His bridegroom in triumph from winning the race against ‘deception’. Nothing will escape the heat of the earth’s cleansing. Our words of wood, hay and stubble burn. The Son of Man is likened to the ‘sun’ which comes out from it’s tent to give the earth what it needs.

Psalm 19:4  their line goes out through all the earth and their words to the end of the world. In them he places a tent for the sun, 

Psalm 19:5  which comes out like a bridegroom from the bridal chamber, with delight like an athlete to run his race. 

Psalm 19:6  It rises at one side of the sky, circles around to the other side, and nothing escapes its heat. 

Isaac knew the precepts of Adonai were right. Isaac was silent in his own sacrifice as a witness to Adam’s promised Seed. He had been awed by his own silence before his slaughter. He had no fear as he trusted his father. The Son of Man also trusted The Father in his execution. Elijah and Mosch even met with Yeshua to verify the exact timing and words so this ‘Execution’ would reveal the real Messiach. The Messiach Son of Man would go silently as Isaac went silently. Every pattern had The Hand of God on it.

Mosche was not able to heal Miriam from leprosy. Only God heals leprosy. YHWH Yeshua son Ben Yoseph healed the leper. This declared himself ELOYM (God). This truly upset these false leaders. They were suppose to teaching the people to look for their Messiach. These false leaders were now exposing themselves as they refused the evidence that The Messiach had come. The Son of Man stood before them in silence as this ‘execution’ had to become real.

Today we stand in awe of false leaders and shake our heads at our world. Yet, these things must happen in order for the earth to be purified of evil. We are judged by our actions because it shows our heart. A two-state solution never works. We saw that with Israel setting up rule in the north and Judah and Binyamin setting up rule in the south. There is to be one place to rule and one nation to guide the earth. They will guide it with The Torah from Jerusalem. All nations will have a representative come to Jerusalem for the Lord’s Appointed times. All blind to Torah will cast off. If they are blind to The Torah they will be blind to The Living Torah Yeshua. He embodies it totally. If you hate Torah you had Jesus.

We must not hate the one that brings the instructions for The Millennium.

Isaac was partly blind with Ya’cov and Esau when he aged. He was remediated by his bride Rebekah. Bathsheba also reminded King David of YHWH’s choice for their youngest son, Solomon. It is The Bride Israel that reminds us how to honor what child.

Bathsheba and David had four children. Their first child was conceived in sin. This son could never rule. Nathan was born next. He was in line for kingship. YHWH knew kings became prideful because of power. Nathan would be honored as a prophet to his father and leader for his people. Nathan would even anoint his younger brother Solomon as king.

Nathan and Bathsheba told aged King David of his son Absalom’s evil plot for the throne. Humble, now firstborn Nathan, took the role of protector to his father King David. Yeshua, firstborn Son of Man (God) would protect Heaven’s kingdom from ‘satan’.

The ‘last shall be first’ shadowing has been played out many times. The ‘firstborns’ suffer according to pattern. God’s ‘only begotten firstborn’ suffered at the hands of man. The Messiach suffered in the new Month One on Day Fourteen. The full moon was a full witness. The sun witnessed The Son. It was not darkened by an eclipse. There is no such thing as a three hour eclipse. The rocks cried out opening graves.

YHWH determines shadowing even seen in The Lord’s Prayer, “As in Heaven so on earth.” We know that The Torah is confirmed in Heaven first and then comes to the earth. We know The Son Yeshua was in Heaven first to then come to earth. He was the First Light in Genesis. The Sun is revealed on Day Three. The Son of Man is to be revealed in Day Three (2000 years, 4000 years, 6000 years…each pattern one day).

Adam gave into his flesh but repented. The Second Adam (Yeshua Jesus) flesh was torn. Being God, he spiritually saved ALL who would believe this. The first Adam did not walk away until Year Seven. Adam repented. Adam was punished by being restored outside The Gan of Eden

Firstborn Cain gave into his flesh. He chose to suffer instead of enduring more instruction!

The ‘Second Adam’ Yeshua Jesus came to earth without violating ‘instruction’. God’s firstborn chose to suffer as patterned for four thousand years. This ‘Second Adam’ cleanses and builds spiritual families.

Once we are born into this world receiving the breath of life, we will have ‘eternal life’. The ‘Six Million Dollar’ question is, “Where do we spend this eternal life?” Generations are without excuse because of Pattern. When we study God, we study His words. All generations will be held responsible for knowing pattern. The sad news is that The Deceivers tell us the OT is not valid to study. Universal religion teaches that Jonah is just that, “A big fish story.” No fish could swallow a man whole. Adam and Eve aren’t real because we come from monkeys and apes. There was on ‘burning bush’ the parting of water. There was no flood!

I now study with people over eighty years old. Their lives have been teaching others the truth. The Flood was real. They have evidence to prove it. There were dinosaurs…there is evidence to prove it. There is a Gan of Eden and it is not in Mecca or Medina. The Temple was real. The Split rock bringing forth water is real. So many things are being proven because mankind now has The Bible to guide them to find these locations.

Psalm 19:8  The precepts of Adonai are right, rejoicing the heart. The mitzvah of Adonai is pure, enlightening the eyes. 

Psalm 19:9  The fear of Adonai is clean, enduring forever. The rulings of Adonai are true, they are righteous altogether, 

Psalm 19:12  Who can discern Unintentional sins? Cleanse me from hidden faults. 

Miriam examined herself as her sinning against YHWH came through complaining to her two brothers for the people. She could not be silent in her witchcraft of ‘control’. She admitted her pride. She could be a priestess. She was the daughter of Levi. Levi was her father first before these boys came along. They were raised up above her. She recognized her presumptuous sin against Mosch and Aharon.

Psalm 19:13-14  Also keep your servant from presumptuous sins, so that they won’t control me. Then I will be blameless and free of great offense.  May the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart be acceptable in your presence, Adonai, my Rock and Redeemer. 

The Seed Sprouted – 4000 years from Adam!

“O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame?” — Psalm_4:2

Mark 14:41  The third time, he came and said to them, “For now, go on sleeping, take your rest. . . .There, that’s enough! The time has come! Look! The Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners!  Mark 14:42  Get up! Let’s go! Here comes my betrayer!” 

Mark 13:26  Then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with tremendous power and glory. 

April 2025 Torah Parshahs 23 and 24 review the different types of sin. Different offenses to The Torah require different offerings. All offerings require SALT. Salt shows a covenant. It says that you want to be a tasty soul doing the ways of ELOYIM. If salt is tasteless, it is thrown out.

Children three years old begin their study right here in Leviticus, not in Genesis. The last chapters of Exodus melds into the first chapters of Leviticus. Who is seen in The Burnt offering? Yeshua Jesus is the Burnt offering. He alone can take away the worst of transgression against God.

INTENTIONAL premeditated murder will require life. INTENTIONAL premeditated adultery may require life. INTENTIONAL premeditated taking a mother birds babies before her eyes will require an offering, not a life. Measure for measure does not mean someone’s eye being taken out requires the other person’s eye to be taken. Judges in courts give us guidelines.

The rock that God stands on is called, The Torah. Mosch stood on Big Rocks to receive The Torah. The first ten words were engraved by YHWH on stone tablets. Petros means little stone/a pebble. The Gates of Hell can NOT prevail against God’s instructions. When Peter endorsed The Torah he was told he stood on solid rock.

The Violence in The Torah is it’s REMOVAL. The Seat of Yeshua is The Seat of Torah/Mosch. They are all ONE! When two or more agree with what is in The Torah they are assured The Father in Heaven agrees. The Father, Son and Spirit are one because they all agree with the same instructions. Angelic beings minister. They have a different Torah (instruction) than humans. Birds that fly together had a different torah (instruction) built into them.

Miriam did not know when she would die. She was cast out of the camp not to be mourned. Aharon was designated the first High Priest, yet he did not cross over. Aharon installed his son Eleazar as High Priest. Notice the ‘el’ in his name. It means, god.

Mosch at 120 years old and full of life installed Joshua to lead. We do not know much about all their forty years in The Wildness. ALL died because of disobedience except two; Joshua and Caleb. A new generation was born. 120 jubilees is seen in Mosch life of 120 years. Even Ya’cov began fresh after 20 years with Laven. We are past the twentieth century and into the twenty-first century. It truly is the time of leadership change. 120 Jubilees is 6000 years. We are at that timing in history. The Kingdom is rightfully being preached around our earth. AMEIN!

We are instructed to tell the stories of coming out of Egypt at this time of year. We are to remember that God does divorce those that divorce The Instructions. Even Mosch and Aharon violated their instructions.

In 70 AD ELOHIM burnt down His own house (Temple). They were to go out to all the world with a message. The foreigners had always been told to follow The Torah. Yet, they were told to not go further than The Court of the Gentiles. It is Aharon’s family line that was to be priests forever. When this was violated, God allowed its defilement to cease. There can be no false leadership.

Gentile and Jew came to Jerusalem for The Lord’s Festivals. Yet it was Rome and false priests that finally caused The Temple to be destroyed. Rome told its soldiers to melt the gold off The Temple for their payment of their services.

Abraham Isaac and Ya’cov all lived in foreign places and yet all returned home to Beth’el/Temple Mount. Foreigners and strangers came out of Egypt with the Hebrews. Nothing changed as Gentiles still come out of their Egypt. Isra’el leading in The Torah makes her The Bride. The Anointed One will return with those that listened to their ‘instructions’. They get to RETURN because they can TEACH Torah. They get to RETURN because they were humble in heart willing to walk on this earth in harmony with The Torah. We bring forth The Messiach when we are in God’s instructions.

Sabbath April 12 thru Sabbath April 19, 2025. 14 Nisan to 21 Nisan we are told to ask questions over the eight days of Pesach. Why this and why that. The Seder is designed to show The Order/Patterns to The Son of Man.

Adam passed out of the Gan of Eden. Noach passed over the earth sitting at The Gan of Eden’s original location. Isaac was passed over from shedding his blood. Only God’s shed blood can save. Miriam passed over one body of water but not the next.

The Seder was done in the homes of the Hebrews before they left Egypt. We do Seders in our homes. Miriam’s Seder began at her home. She was afraid because of all the blood poured out across their wooden door frames. The Hebrews had to leave quickly only eating the lamb. Their dough did not have time to rise. Leavening (puffed up) represents sin. Carrying out no leaven with them shows us God covered them. God took them out Egypt. God takes us out of our Egypt’s. Evil Hamas trees are falling down in 2025. Floods are taking down trees with people hanging onto them for their very life.

Adam had beautiful fruitful wood. Then Adam had to have a cover when he decided to be like god. Noach was raised up on the earth in a wooden covering. Isaac allowed his head to be laid on wood by his father. There is only one ELOHIM. He is patterned to be a ‘burnt offering’ (die) on a special altar.

We do not hear any more about the Wilderness crowd’s lives. But we do know they were learning The Instructions. If one things was not right, they would burn up. Everything had to be perfect in order for The Messiach to be seen.

They leave The Wildness at year 40. It will be their 42^nd move when they touch the soil into The Promised Land. This too is perfect in pattern. Forty-two is the last number in the 6^th Shemita cycle. Forty-three walks into Shemita cycle 7. YHWH communicates with us through things observed.

The ‘Opening of the House’ is seen in verse 42: Four (Dahlet) Open, Two (Beit) House. The Opening of the House is for Man. (4+2=6)

Six is the letter vav meaning to add. Man (6) was added to earth to prove The Spiritual Battle could be won with him still in his free will.

The Deceiver was crushed and captives set free at the year 4000 when Yeshua set free the captives in Sho’el. Guilty sinners are still held captive in this realm. We have been taught to call it hell. Yet, it is not The Lake of Fire.

Miriam writes words telling about her stresses coming out of Egypt. They were leaving an earthly hell. She not only saw them pilfer the Egyptians of their precious metals, but also every ‘firstborn’ not covered under blood-soaked wood died. They say 20 percent of Egypt left. That is a huge labor force that included Egyptian who wanted to go along.

Miriam had to leave. All their lives were in jeopardy. Oh my…what had her two brothers gotten themselves into is where her faith failed her. That should not have been the question at all. She never stopped being a pain in their necks.

These are just FOUR vessels we observed at Pesach 2025. Miriam’s intention was to make people rejoice. But, she herself could not rejoice until she saw God answer her brother Mosche’s prayer. He was standing on a ‘Rock’ with Hur and Aharon holding up his hands. He was standing on The Rock of Instruction known as torah. Where was her intercession for him?

Adam’s intention was to enjoy perfect fellowship with a God that spoke through The Spirit. We see God through attributes. We see YHWH with a faceted sign language.

How does God see you? What attributes of God do you portray to others. Praying without ceasing is living your life according to God-attributes. He hears you because you are one in thought which leads to action.

Miriam did not have an inner joy. She showed outward joy pleasing people with her music.

Adam’s joy finally came through a righteous son named, Seth. Adam succeeded when in God attributes. Parents are delighted when children follow God’s attributes.

Noach succeeded because he honored his grand’s parenting. He honored the words from Enoch and Methuselah. In-law means in-instruction. Torah is the parent. We are in God. He is our parent giving us instruction in our generation.

Isaac is honored as a Patriarch as he first ‘consecrated’ himself with his righteous father, Abraham. Isaac and Abraham both saw afar off. They both saw into heaven. They knew that YHWH was in control of every human birth. They knew YHWH purposed their lives for spiritual resurrection. They stood on the future Temple Mount with sacrifice.

FAITH in ‘The Seed’s Resurrection’ has always been seen in shadows. The Lord’s Festivals and man’s events continue being Shadows to The Messiach. Seders shadow God’s Redemption past and future. Kings are shadows to The Anointed Yeshua Jesus. Kings are anointed by God and called Sons of God. Yeshua Jesus is not called that. He is called, Son of Man. This label defines him as God.

An instructive writer has made a mournful list of the honors which the blinded people of Israel awarded to their long expected King.

1. They gave him a procession of honour, in which Roman legionaries, Jewish priests, men and women, took a part, he himself bearing his cross. This is the triumph which the world awards to him who comes to overthrow man’s direst foes. Derisive shouts are his only acclamation, and cruel taunts his only paeans of praise.

2. They presented him with the wine of honour. Instead of a golden cup of generous wine they offered him the criminal’s stupefying death-draught, which he refused because he would preserve an uninjured taste wherewith to taste of death; and afterwards when he cried, “I thirst,” they gave him vinegar mixed with gall, thrust to his mouth upon a sponge. Oh! wretched, detestable inhospitality to the King’s Son.

3. He was provided with a guard of honour, who showed their esteem of him by gambling over his garments, which they had seized as their booty. Such was the body-guard of the adored of heaven; a quaternion of brutal gamblers.

4. A throne of honour was found for him upon the bloody tree; no easier place of rest would rebel men yield to their liege Lord. The cross was, in fact, the full expression of the world’s feeling towards him; “There,” they seemed to say, “thou Son of God, this is the manner in which God himself should be treated, could we reach him.”

5. The title of honour was nominally “King of the Jews,” but that the blinded nation distinctly repudiated, and really called him “King of thieves,” by preferring Barabbas, and by placing Jesus in the place of highest shame between two thieves. His glory was thus in all things turned into shame by the sons of men, but it shall yet gladden the eyes of saints and angels, world without end.

Evening Devotion

“Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation; and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.” — Psa_51:14

In this SOLEMN CONFESSION, it is pleasing to observe that David plainly names his sin. He does not call it manslaughter, nor speak of it as an imprudence by which an unfortunate accident occurred to a worthy man, but he calls it by its true name, blood guiltiness. He did not actually kill the husband of Bathsheba; but still it was planned in David’s heart that Uriah should be slain, and he was before the Lord his murderer. Learn in confession to be honest with God. Do not give fair names to foul sins; call them what you will, they will smell no sweeter. What God sees them to be, that do you labour to feel them to be; and with all openness of heart acknowledge their real character. Observe, that David was evidently oppressed with the heinousness of his sin. It is easy to use words, but it is difficult to feel their meaning. The fifty-first Psalm is the photograph of a contrite spirit. Let us seek after the like brokenness of heart; for however excellent our words may be, if our heart is not conscious of the hell-deservingness of sin, we cannot expect to find forgiveness.

Our text has in it AN EARNEST PRAYER- it is addressed to the God of salvation. It is his prerogative to forgive; it is his very name and office to save those who seek his face. Better still, the text calls him the God of my salvation. Yes, blessed be his name, while I am yet going to him through Yeshua’s blood, I can rejoice in the ELOYM of my salvation.

The psalmist ends with A COMMENDABLE VOW: if God will deliver him he will sing-nay, more, he will “sing aloud.” Who can sing in any other style of such a mercy as this! But note the subject of the song-“THY RIGHTEOUSNESS.” We must sing of the finished work of a precious Saviour; and he who knows most of forgiving love will sing the loudest.
