Queen of Soul * King of Rock
August 16
With this discourse I write what I write with no intention of harm…but we MUST stand as judges in our community of those that claim to have God on their side. Do they? Or, are they likened to Adam and Chanoh of whom wanted to be as gods.
We are to judge
within our community that says they love Jesus. Even if this community does not call him by his Hebrew name Yeshua, or if they do NOT believe in living by all of the Torah (God’s instructions). Anyone who boasts of Jesus’ blood lays claim to his lineage which is of Abraham, Isaac and Yacob.
We must always read Scripture in it’s full context and therefore we begin with verse 1 as the disciple Sha’ul (Paul) speaks to those that should already know how to live and are not holding each other accountable to the Torah.
1Co 5:1 It is actually being reported that there is sexual sin among you, and it is sexual sin of a kind that is condemned even by pagans — a man is living with his stepmother!
1Co 5:2 And you stay proud? Shouldn’t you rather have felt some sadness that would have led you to remove from your company the man who has done this thing?
1Co 5:3 For I myself, even though I am absent physically, am with you spiritually; and I have already judged the man who has done this as if I were present.
1Co 5:4 In the name of the Lord Yeshua, when you are assembled, with me present spiritually and the power of our Lord Yeshua among us,
1Co 5:5 hand over such a person to the Adversary for his old nature to be destroyed, so that his spirit may be saved in the Day of the Lord.
1Co 5:6 Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know the saying, “It takes only a little hametz to leaven a whole batch of dough?”
1Co 5:7 Get rid of the old hametz, so that you can be a new batch of dough, because in reality you are unleavened. For our Pesach lamb, the Messiah, has been sacrificed.
1Co 5:8 So let us celebrate the Seder not with leftover hametz, the hametz of wickedness and evil, but with the matzah of purity and truth.
1Co 5:9 In my earlier letter I wrote you not to associate with people who engage in sexual immorality.
1Co 5:10 I didn’t mean the sexually immoral people outside your community, or the greedy, or the thieves or the idol-worshippers — for then you would have to leave the world altogether!
1Co 5:11 No, what I wrote you was not to associate with anyone who is supposedly a brother but who also engages in sexual immorality, is greedy, worships idols, is abusive, gets drunk or steals. With such a person you shouldn’t even eat!
1Co 5:12 For what business is it of mine to judge outsiders? Isn’t it those who are part of the community that you should be judging?
1Co 5:13 God will judge those who are outside. Just expel the evildoer from among yourselves.
If there is sin in the camp it is to be expelled. Believers are to judge believers…they do not need to go outside their camp to find judges. But, in the case of murder…there are outside judges.
What is a Beit Dien? House of two or more come together to judge a matter.
What is fornication and adultery? What is idolatry?
If man does not obey God’s torah (instructions) then he won’t be obeying other instructions either. Joining ourselves to other gods is seen as sexual sin in God’s eyes. We fornicate with other gods of our world when we bring them into our lives. Each country has foreigners knocking on her door to be let in. Every country presents to the foreigner it’s constitution of laws that guides that country. If the foreigner does not agree with that countries constitution, they should not enter that country. But, what many foreigners do is enter a country in thinking that they will change that constitution so they can live according to how the foreigner belives.
If God’s instruction says that a man may not live with his stepmother having sex with her, then it is only God that can change the instruction…otherwise it is considered ‘missing the mark’ of God’s instruction/torah.
1Co 6:1 How dare one of you with a complaint against another go to court before pagan judges and not before God’s people?
1Co 6:2 Don’t you know that God’s people are going to judge the universe? If you are going to judge the universe, are you incompetent to judge these minor matters?
1Co 6:3 Don’t you know that we will judge angels, not to mention affairs of everyday life?
1Co 6:4 So if you require judgments about matters of everyday life, why do you put them in front of men who have no standing in the Messianic Community?
Beit Dein – Two or more meet with a transgressor to seek to return the transgressor back to Torah. If what the beit Dein agrees upon it will be accepted in the heavens. This is possible because the beit dein can only agree according to the Torah. It is the Torah that judges all men. Earth’s torah must agree with Heaven’s torah or don’t expect prayers to be answered.
Rom 1:22 Claiming to be wise, they have become fools!
Rom 1:23 In fact, they have exchanged the glory of the immortal God for mere images, like a mortal human being, or like birds, animals or reptiles!
Rom 1:24 This is why God has given them up to the vileness of their hearts’ lusts, to the shameful misuse of each others bodies.
Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the Good News, since it is God’s powerful means of bringing salvation to everyone who keeps on trusting, to the Jew especially, but equally to the Gentile.
Rom 1:17 For in it is revealed how God makes people righteous in his sight; and from beginning to end it is through trust — as the Tanakh puts it, “But the person who is righteous will live his life by trust.”
Rom 1:18 What is revealed is God’s anger from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people who in their wickedness keep suppressing the truth;
Rom 1:19 because what is known about God is plain to them, since God has made it plain to them.
Rom 1:20 For ever since the creation of the universe his invisible qualities — both his eternal power and his divine nature — have been clearly seen, because they can be understood from what he has made. Therefore, they have no excuse;
Rom 1:21 because, although they know who God is, they do not glorify him as God or thank him. On the contrary, they have become futile in their thinking; and their undiscerning hearts have become darkened.
Rom 1:22 Claiming to be wise, they have become fools!
Rom 1:25 They have exchanged the truth of God for falsehood, by worshipping and serving created things, rather than the Creator — praised be he for ever. Amen.
Rom 1:26 This is why God has given them up to degrading passions; so that their women exchange natural sexual relations for unnatural;
Rom 1:27 and likewise the men, giving up natural relations with the opposite sex, burn with passion for one another, men committing shameful acts with other men and receiving in their own persons the penalty appropriate to their perversion.
Rom 1:28 In other words, since they have not considered God worth knowing, God has given them up to worthless ways of thinking; so that they do improper things.
Adam was separated from God for 42 days after the ‘day of deception’. Adam and Chanoh were to remember their deception as they remained in the place of his deception (the beautiful Gan of Eden) for 42 days. They were left in the place where they turned their backs on Adonai. They would certainly remember what they had lost and now Adonai was no longer communicating with them. Their lives were truly empty without The Creator….and they lived in fear with the animals that could no longer speak but only hiss and growl at them for their punishment being passed unto them.
Noach was separated from the world 42 days after the non-speaking animals had been released on Month Two Day 27; Cheshvan 27. They would remember the creaking timbers of the ark…a place of refuge that was good….and yet it seemed like a prison for over a year with the animals and now another 42 days was required. The ark and the Gan of Eden were havens designed by The Creator.
Adam had been set in the Gan of Eden after being cleansed for 40 days and nights. Chanoh was set in the Garden of Eden with him after another 40 days and nights making her total of 80 days. Thus Adam was silenced from Chanoah for 42 days right from their beginning. Day One: she was created from his side bone. She completed 80 days and was set back with him on her being 82 days old.
Queen of Soul (born 1942) – King of Rock (42 died)
lifted up as gods in our world both singing about Jesus
In 1942 a sweet black baby girl was born. She would be set apart to the world early in her first ten years of life because of her voice. Her mother separated from her philandering father and was living in Buffalo, New York where she died of a heart attack on March 7, 1952. This little girl had been torn from her mother by separation and now she would totally lose her mother by death at the age of 10 years old (a number of testing).
“Before her fifth birthday, in 1946, her father had permanently relocated the family to Detroit, Michigan where he took over the pastorship of New Bethel Baptist Church.” By 1948 the couple separated when this little girl was age 6. Four years later her mother died of a heart attack…a broken heart? She had not abandoned her family but had become a long-distance mother to her daughter.
This little girl was traveling with her father who became known as the man with the “million-dollar voice’. He earned thousands of dollars as she traveled the church circuits with him. At age twelve (12) this innocent little girl herself would have a baby. On January 28 1955 she gave birth to a son and named him Clarence after her father. The babies father was a boy from school. Sadly again, she gave give birth to a second son on January 22, 1957 when she was only fourteen (14) years of age. He was named Edward after his father Edward.
It will be her song R.E.S.P.E.C.T. that shot to number one on both the R&B and pop charts. ‘Respect’ became her signature song and was later hailed as a civil rights and feminist anthem. It would be her passion and emphasis on ‘respect’ that carried in her voice that made the song a hit. She had two failed marriages with two children from them. She had a total of four children. It would be through these failings in her life that pushed her forward to attach herself to political purposes that gained her own personal respect.
Her father was her agent that brought him family riches by the time she was 25 years old. From 1942 to 1987 at age 45 she found herself being inducted in the ‘Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’, becoming the first female performer to be inducted.
This powerful individual was born on a powerful day of resurrection, Nissan 7. It is the anniversary of Lazarus’ resurrection by Yeshua. A week later Yeshua purposely went to the stake to die for the penalty of sin for all of mankind. This Suffering Servant resurrected himself three days later on Nissan 17. This little girl would sing about Jesus’ death and resurrection and became richer…and richer… and more famous because of HIM. But did she search out her Hebrew savior to know the dates He suffered?
Did she know about her connection to Lazarus? And, as she lay sick from what was pancreatic cancer did she know who could really resurrect her into eternity? Did she know what the date 3 Elul was?
Many people determine the day that they die…as we see many people holding on until their last friend or relative visits them. Did this 76-year old celebrity know that Moses had just arrived to the top of Mt. Sinai and was standing in the presence of God? He was acting as an intermediary for the Hebrew children. He was communicating their prayers of repentance for the worship of the ‘golden calf’ back in the month of Tammuz.
Did she know to pray through Yeshua who was her intercessor? Did she know that her position on earth was to represent her savior and also be an intermediary? Or did she keep singing to the end of her life to have them stand in applause of her? Did she stand up for all Americans…black and white?
God determined the day this little girl was born and the day that she would die.
We can be assured that she knew when The King of Rock Elvis Presley died…August 16, 1977.
Did she give up her last breath as ‘The Queen of Soul’ and ‘The Queen of Rock’ to be recorded into history as dying the same day as,The King of Rock died? Elvis Presley is known as “The King”.
King of Rock and Queen of Rock and Queen of Soul
August 16
Aretha Franklin 76, b. March 24, 1942 – d. August 16, 2018; 7 Nissan – 3 Elul. Died pancreatic cancer.
Elvis Aaron Presley 42, b. January 8, 1935 – d. August 16, 1977, 4 Shevat – 2 Elul. Died drugs.
42 – Four is the letter Dahlet ד represented by a door. Two is the letter Beit ב represented by a house. Door House – What does the door to your house represent? God’s house has His Son’s blood covering it. Hebrews attach a Mezuzah to their doors with Scripture inside representing God’s Word covering their minds within that house. It’s part of the ‘threshold’ covenant that consecrates the house.
42
Both had the time of ‘consecration’ in their lives. The Queen and King were born 60 days apart and died on the exact same Gregorian date; August 16. The Queen of Soul and Rock and The King both died…on the same day…standing on the mountain of God just as Mosch did. What do you think will be their life-story as they stand at the Bema Seat of judgment as we all must?
Why can we make a judgment?
1Co 5:12 For what business is it of mine to judge outsiders? Isn’t it those who are part of the community that you should be judging?
1Co 5:13 God will judge those who are outside. Just expel the evildoer from among yourselves.
1Co 6:5 I say, shame on you! Can it be that there isn’t one person among you wise enough to be able to settle a dispute between brothers?
1Co 6:6 Instead, a brother brings a lawsuit against another brother, and that before unbelievers!
1Co 6:7 Actually, if you are bringing lawsuits against each other, it is already a defeat for you. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated?
1Co 6:8 Instead, you yourselves wrong and cheat; and you do it to your own brothers!
And was is abominable is that we misuse God in our money-making. We represent The Creator…The Elohim of the Universe and bring Him down to our level and make it look like we’ve got God in our back pocket to do as we command.
Go ahead and make money…but don’t think God is pleased when you drag him into it. He is only to be glorified and not represented in our vanity.
None are good…all have sinned…..Every knee is to bow……
