Moses’ Final Blessing on Generations collectively as Israel.
Deu 33:1 This is the blessing that Moshe, the man of God, spoke over the people of Isra’el before his death:
Seems Adonai offered this fiery law first to Ishmael of whom was busy shooting arrows at Se’ir.
Seems Adonai offered this fiery law second to Esau at Mount Pa’ran who said he was too busy with the things in his world.
Seems Ya’cov, when offered this fiery law, embraced it as he saw its eternal value pointing to The Seed promised to Adam.
Deu 33:2 “Adonai came from Sinai; from Se`ir he dawned on his people, shone forth from Mount Pa’ran; and with him were myriads of holy ones; at his right hand was a fiery law for them.
(Myriads of holy ones were with Adonai embracing The Torah’s power to bring forth The Seed.)
The ‘fiery law’ was commanded as an inheritance for the community who would embrace it. All holy ones embrace it.
Deu 33:3 He truly loves the peoples—all his holy ones are in your hand; sitting at your feet, they receive your instruction,
Deu 33:4 the Torah Moshe commanded us as an inheritance for the community of Ya`akov.
Deu 33:5 Then a king arose in Yeshurun when the leaders of the people were gathered, all the tribes of Isra’el together.
King David would rise up being a pattern to The Seed yet to come.
The Prophecies – Show blessing for obedience to The Torah. Show a reduction in number for not embracing The Torah.
Deu 33:6 “Let Re’uven live and not die out, even though his numbers grow few.”
Deu 33:7 Of Y’hudah he said: “Hear, Adonai, the cry of Y’hudah! Bring him in to his people, let his own hands defend him; but you, help him against his enemies.”
Judah will remain true to the torah (instructions) declared for The Temple the longest. The word Jewish comes from this tribe. Today we think of all the tribes as being Jewish…when in fact they are all Israelites (sons of Ya’cov).
Deu 33:8 Of Levi he said: “Let your tumim and urim be with your pious one, whom you tested at Massah, with whom you struggled at M’rivah Spring.
Deu 33:9 Of his father and mother he said, ‘I don’t know them’; he didn’t acknowledge his brothers or children. For he observed your word, and he kept your covenant.
Deu 33:10 They will teach Ya`akov your rulings, Isra’el your Torah. They will set incense before you and whole burnt offerings on your altar.
Deu 33:11 Adonai, bless his possessions, accept the work he does; but crush his enemy’s hip and thigh; may those who hate him rise no more.”
Levi did not go in the way of his parents or straying siblings. Levy observed the words of God and kept covenant with God. Levy will be the priests that teach God’s rulings. They will also set up on the earth what it means to worship to God. Burning incense represents a sweet aroma rising up for God representing our prayers. Prayer must be holy (sincere) or it is considered worthless. Participating in The Lord’s Festivals, even not working on any Sabbath, can cost people their income. These sacrifices are ‘burnt’ offerings to ADONAI. (Ex. Tammy 2022 attended three MO sukkot.)
Those that deter you from honoring the ways of The Lord may be crushed….not to rise up anymore.
Deu 33:12 Of Binyamin he said: “Adonai’s beloved lives securely. He protects him day after day. He lives between his shoulders.”
Binyamin is a son of whom had his full brother Joseph sold to Egypt when he was just ten years old. Ya’cov himself raised up Binyamin as his mother Rachel died giving birth to him. He was not part of the brothers who put Yosef in a well. Binyamim will have the most children of any brother when they arrive in Egypt. Binyamin’s ten sons make up one tenth of the seventy seeds that are planted in Egyptian soil. Binyamin lives in Adonai’s Torah even patterned as a ‘suffering servant’ (son of God hung on the stake). Binyamin is almost annihilated until brother Judah gives them virgins to marry to begin again. Binyamin raped a priest of Ephraim’s concubine. The priest cut her into pieces and delivered her to each tribe of Israel to avenge her.
Deu 33:13 Of Yosef he said: “May Adonai bless his land with the best from the sky, for the dew, and for what comes from the deep beneath,
Deu 33:14 with the best of what the sun makes grow, with the best of what comes up each month,
Deu 33:15 with the best from the mountains of old, with the best from the eternal hills,
Yosef blessing follow the theme of what happened to him. He was planted in a well by his brothers beneath the earth.
As ‘second in command’ of all of Egypt he controlled all the earth in that area. He saved his half-brothers Ishmael and Esau’s clans as well.
Yosef was not born as Ya’cov’s ‘firstborn’ but will become Ya’cov’s ‘firstborn’ receiving double rights, in order to support the entire family. Leah had Ya’cov’s firstborn, Reuben. He slipped into this father’s concubine’s bed and raped her. Ya’cov would never lie with her again. Thus, Reuben lost his ‘firstborn’ position in the family. The next firstborn rights went to Rachel’s firstborn, Yoseph.
Yosef carries forth an eternal perspective as he patterns ‘the suffering servant’ to be seen in ‘Yeshua’ who suffered on the stake. Yoseph then rose up to pattern the ‘King of Kings’ that was, is and is to come again.
Yeshua fills up the earth with righteous favor from The Father. Yeshua, the Son of God, fills up the burnt offering sacrifice. His rule continues today to lead all kings on our earth. The Father’s instructions were written down and given by Moses pointing to this spiritual/human king. It is the ‘burning’ for the Messiach and His instructions that is to fill the earth.
Deu 33:16 with the best from the earth and all that fills it, and the favor of him who lived in the [burning] bush. May blessing come on the head of Yosef, on the brow of the prince among his brothers.
Yosef portrays Yeshua being the ‘prince’ among his brothers.
Efrayim and M’nasheh go throughout all the earth joining thousands to these same instructions. They were born foreign but are joined to inherit equally all promises given to the other tribes.
Deu 33:17 His firstborn bull—glory is his; his horns are those of a wild ox; With them he will gore the peoples, all of them, to the ends of the earth. These are the myriads of Efrayim; these are the thousands of M’nasheh.”
Z’vulun and Issachar evangelize the Torah to all the nations as they live near the seaports that go out to the world. Treasure of the sand will be the export of salt and minerals. After the 7-year Holocaust, Israel finally was recognized as The Nation of Israel in 1048. In 2017 she called herself ‘Israel’ and began exporting her treasures of natural gas to the world.
Deu 33:18 Of Z’vulun he said: “Rejoice, Z’vulun, as you go forth, and you, Yissakhar, in your tents.
Deu 33:19 They will summon peoples to the mountain and there offer righteous sacrifices; for they will draw from the abundance of the seas and from the hidden treasures of the sand.”
Deu 33:20 Of Gad he said: “Blessed is he who makes Gad so large; he lies there like a lion, tearing arm and scalp.
Deu 33:21 He chose the best for himself when the princely portion was assigned. When the leaders of the people came, he carried out Adonai’s justice and his rulings concerning Isra’el.”
Gad means troops. Gad brings forth the righteous Torah to the earth and is not afraid to die for it.
Deu 33:22 Of Dan he said: “Dan is a lion cub leaping forth from Bashan.”
Dan never grew big.
Naphtali finds grace and is blessed from Adonai bringing the blessing of Torah to the world and the southern countries.
Deu 33:23 Of Naphtali he said: “You, Naftali, satisfied with favor and full of blessing from Adonai, take possession of the sea and the south.”
Deu 33:24 Of Asher he said: “May Asher be most blessed of sons, may he be the favorite among his brothers and bathe his feet in oil.
Deu 33:25 May your bolts be of iron and bronze and your strength last as long as you live.
Many believe Asher pointed to the oil deposits, but it is the anointing oil found in the olives trees that is spoken of here. The oil from the plants made him favored to multiply. Their strength came in supporting the activities of The Temple. All nations are being anointed in Yeshua Messiach’s anointing on the Anointing Mountain, the Mount of Olives.
Deu 33:26 “Yeshurun, there is no one like God, riding through the heavens to help you, riding on the clouds in his majesty.
Deu 33:27 The God of old is a dwelling-place, with everlasting arms beneath. He expelled the enemy before you and he said, ‘Destroy!’
Deu 33:28 So Isra’el lives in security; the fountain of Ya`akov is alone in a land of grain and new wine, where the skies drip with dew.
Deu 33:29 Happy are you, Isra’el! “Who is like you, a people saved by Adonai, your defender helping you and your sword of triumph? Your enemies will cringe before you, but you will trample down their high places.”
Yeshua went into the wilderness being shown all the kingdoms under Satan’s control. Yeshua was offered all of these kingdoms instead of ‘dying’ on the stake for the penalty of sin which is spiritual death. Yeshua saw it and Moses saw it. Moses did not scream and yell but was obedient unto his death. Yeshua did not kick and scream at The Father but was obedient unto death while being God but placed in human flesh.
Philippians 2:5 Let your attitude toward one another be governed by your being in union with the Messiah Yeshua:
Php 2:6 Though he was in the form of God, he did not regard equality with God something to be possessed by force.
Php 2:7 On the contrary, he emptied himself, in that he took the form of a slave by becoming like human beings are. And when he appeared as a human being,
Php 2:8 he humbled himself still more by becoming obedient even to death—death on a stake as a criminal!
Php 2:9 Therefore God raised him to the highest place and gave him the name above every name;
Php 2:10 that in honor of the name given Yeshua, every knee will bow—in heaven, on earth and under the earth—
Php 2:11 and every tongue will acknowledge that Yeshua the Messiah is Adonai—to the glory of God the Father.
Mat 4:1 Then the Spirit led Yeshua up into the wilderness to be tempted by the Adversary.
Mathew 4:8 Once more, the Adversary took him up to the summit of a very high mountain, showed him all the kingdoms of the world in all their glory,
Mat 4:9 and said to him, “All this I will give you if you will bow down and worship me.”
Mat 4:10 “Away with you, Satan!” Yeshua told him, “For the Tanakh says, ‘Worship Adonai your God, and serve only him.’ ”
Mat 4:11 Then the Adversary let him alone, and angels came and took care of him.
Moses was in the cloud of presence of God which looked like burning fire. After six days Adonai spoke to Moses. Adonai creates Adam on Day Six speaking to him about Day Seven being a day of fellowship between God and man. These are just a few patterns that confirm our earth is to be guided by Torah for 6000 years. In the ‘Seventh’ thousandth year we are in the presence of God hearing his voice….as it was in the Gan of Eden….they heard the ‘voice’ of God walking in the garden.
Exo 24:15 Moshe went up onto the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain.
Exo 24:16 The glory of Adonai stayed on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days. On the seventh day he called to Moshe out of the cloud.
Exo 24:17 To the people of Isra’el the glory of Adonai looked like a raging fire on the top of the mountain.
Exo 24:18 Moshe entered the cloud and went up on the mountain; he was on the mountain forty days and nights.
The forty days recognizes the timeline of four thousand years from Adam that the ‘burnt (fire) offering’ (Yeshua’s death, burial, resurrection) was seen as ‘Light’ to the world. Yeshua Jesus was birthed at 4000 years from Adam. Forty is a consecration time. Four is the letter ‘dahlet’ pictured as a door. Mt. Sinai is the door to The Torah seen dimly as through a cloud as Moses Torah gets in the way of clearly seeing Yeshua as The Living Word…the Living Torah still in effect today. Our cancel culture wants to cancel Yeshua who still held to The Father’s words and call him Jesus who is Torahless. These will not cross over as they speak their own understanding and remove the chief cornerstone…Yeshua full of The Father’s instruction (The Torah).
Rev 2:4 But I have this against you: you have lost the love you had at first.
The disciple John is speaking at about age 90 from the island of Patmos. This is written before any New Testament writings were canonized by the beginnings of the Catholic Church in 200 AD which was total anti-Jewish. What did they lose? The love for The Torah and prophets’ writings.
Rev 2:5 Therefore, remember where you were before you fell, turn from this sin, and do what you used to do before. Otherwise, I will come to you and remove your menorah from its place—if you don’t turn from your sin!
Eph 2:1 You used to be dead because of your sins and acts of disobedience.
Eph 2:2 You walked in the ways of the `olam haze and obeyed the Ruler of the Powers of the Air, who is still at work among the disobedient.
Eph 2:3 Indeed, we all once lived this way—we followed the passions of our old nature and obeyed the wishes of our old nature and our own thoughts. In our natural condition we were headed for God’s wrath, just like everyone else.
Eph 2:4 But God is so rich in mercy and loves us with such intense love
Eph 2:5 that, even when we were dead because of our acts of disobedience, he brought us to life along with the Messiah—it is by grace that you have been delivered.
Eph 2:6 That is, God raised us up with the Messiah Yeshua and seated us with him in heaven,
Eph 2:7 in order to exhibit in the ages to come how infinitely rich is his grace, how great is his kindness toward us who are united with the Messiah Yeshua.
Eph 2:8 For you have been delivered by grace through trusting, and even this is not your accomplishment but God’s gift.
Eph 2:9 You were not delivered by your own actions; therefore no one should boast.
Eph 2:10 For we are of God’s making, created in union with the Messiah Yeshua for a life of good actions already prepared by God for us to do.
The Torah was prepared to be in union with Christ. Yeshua Jesus lived out Torah not missing one work or one prophecy that was told the Messiach would do. He even healed leprosy which was a true sign of The Messiach. It is in The Torah the Messiah is proved to the Jew. A torahless Jesus does nothing to bring Jewish to salvation. It Yeshua who filled up and walked out Torah that will prove who the Messiach is. Christianity has gone down the wrong path in evangelizing. When you leave out The Father’s instructions you leave out all the patterns that prove God’s existence. Man has set his thinking above God’s thinking in how to present eternal salvation. Many will stand at the Bema Seat and wonder what happened to their crowns for preaching the ‘gospel of Christ’. Moses struck the rock when he was to speak to the rock.
Thirty days before Moses dies, he is told: He now speaks the words in Deuteronomy summarizing their 40-year journey.
Deu 32:50 On the mountain you are ascending you will die and be gathered to your people, just as Aharon your brother died on Mount Hor and was gathered to his people.
Deu 32:51 The reason for this is that both of you broke faith with me there among the people of Isra’el at the M’rivat-Kadesh Spring, in the Tzin Desert; you failed to demonstrate my holiness there among the people of Isra’el.
Deu 32:52 So you will see the land from a distance, but you will not enter the land I am giving to the people of Isra’el.”
The Death of Moses
Deu 34:1 Moshe ascended from the plains of Mo’av to Mount N’vo, to the summit of Pisgah, across from Yericho. There Adonai showed him all the land—Gil`ad as far as Dan,
Deu 34:2 all Naftali, the land of Efrayim and M’nasheh, the land of Y’hudah all the way to the sea beyond,
Deu 34:3 the Negev and the plain, including the valley where Yericho the City of Date-Palms is, as far away as Tzo`ar.
Deu 34:4 Adonai said to him, “This is the land concerning which I swore to Avraham, Yitz’chak and Ya`akov, ‘I will give it to your descendants.’ I have let you see it with your eyes, but you will not cross over there.”
Deu 34:5 So Moshe, the servant of Adonai, died there in the land of Mo’av, as Adonai had said.
Deu 34:6 He was buried in the valley across from Beit-P`or in the land of Mo’av, but to this day no one knows where his grave is.
Moses had three forty-year segments to his life. Raised by Pharaoh’s daughter; Living among Moabites (Lot’s daughter); Teaching Torah To YHWH’s bride.
Moses also experienced three different 40-day experiences of repenting. 1. Twelve Tribes wanted to spy out land that was already approved to go in. 2. Broke tablets as the children had already broken the first command of not having other gods before them (gold calf worship). 3. He made a second set of tablets begging God to write on them … thirteen attributes given.
Deu 34:7 Moshe was 120 years old when he died, with eyes undimmed and vigor undiminished.
In the 20th Century Israel became a nation to bring Torah back to the earth. Before this they lost 6 million as a ‘burnt’ offering for the world to see. We now have the privilege of mourning for this ‘burnt offering’ and repenting for any of our ancestors being part of it. We must repent for removing Torah from the earth. If we do NOT, we will not go in. We must not follow a Torahless Messiach. Our time of mourning is soon ending as God issues the plagues to remove those who chose not to follow God’s calendar which include, The Lord’s Feasts…which point to The Messiach. Torah is God’s wisdom for the earth. Through it we find The Messiach and thank Him for his atoning blood sacrifice…claiming, ‘It is finished’. He filled up every prophecy spoken of him…proving He alone is worthy to be the earths next KING of KINGS.
Deu 34:8 The people of Isra’el mourned Moshe on the plains of Mo’av for thirty days; after this, the days of crying and mourning for Moshe ended.
Deu 34:9 Y’hoshua the son of Nun was full of the Spirit of wisdom, for Moshe had laid his hands on him, and the people of Isra’el heeded him and did what Adonai had ordered Moshe.
Deu 34:10 Since that time there has not arisen in Isra’el a prophet like Moshe, whom Adonai knew face to face.
Deu 34:11 What signs and wonders Adonai sent him to perform in the land of Egypt upon Pharaoh, all his servants and all his land!
Deu 34:12 What might was in his hand! What great terror he evoked before the eyes of all Isra’el!
The Creation of the World
Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Gen 1:2 The earth was unformed and void, darkness was on the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God hovered over the surface of the water.
Bereshit – Beit – beginning – holds everything that is to be. Without YHWH nothing was made. He holds all things together as time was put in place. It will not always be this way.
The Festival of Succot is about ‘Redemption’…. seven days to come together as a community to trust YHWH with time.
Shemini Atzaret – Eighth Day – We will see YHWH’s mansion arrive from Heaven to sitting above the earth as a phylactery on man’s head reminding him of God’s promises.
Simchat Torah – Day Nine 9 – The Rewinding of the Scroll – It closes out the 52-week study of the first five books of our bible. As this day closes out The Torah it once again begins The Torah. It shows us to be joyous in The Torah…as it blesses our lives. It is NOT something we ‘have to do’…but our hearts are joyous in meeting with YHWH through its instructions.
The first verses of Genesis are read declaring that God’s word continues into eternity. It is never ending as we “Rejoice’ (Simchat) in The Torah for the next year to come.
At Or Halam, 22 Tishri, October 17, 2022 – I was privileged to be among several who carried The Torah scroll embracing its new beginnings. What a privilege to see many people rising up to honor the ways of God.
