Yom Kippur – The Day of Atonement

Regular Sabbaths are for helping other. Yom Kippur is for afflicting yourself… not even reading the Torah if that is your joy.

Lev 23:26  Adonai said to Moshe, 

Lev 23:27  “The tenth day of this seventh month is Yom-Kippur; you are to have a holy convocation, you are to deny yourselves, and you are to bring an offering made by fire to Adonai. 

Lev 23:28  You are not to do any kind of work on that day, because it is Yom-Kippur, to make atonement for you before Adonai your God. 

Lev 23:29  Anyone who does not deny himself on that day is to be cut off from his people; 

Lev 23:30  and anyone who does any kind of work on that day, I will destroy from among his people. 

Lev 23:31  You are not to do any kind of work; it is a permanent regulation through all your generations, no matter where you live. 

Lev 23:32  It will be for you a Shabbat of complete rest, and you are to deny yourselves; you are to rest on your Shabbat from evening the ninth day of the month until the following evening.” 

King James Version

Lev 23:32  It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath. 

I wrote five pages on this subject a year ago as I saw these scriptures put up on walls to sing after… making us think we were to afflict ourselves every Sabbath. We are not… Sabbath are for a delight.

This Sabbath called, The Fast…. must never be taken away from.

There is ONE day per year that God has established to look at our world and pass judgment. He looks at nations and he looks at people’s lives. I had a word from a friend of which I’ve never had before.

The message from her to me that she was receiving from The LORD was:

I knew what it meant… we think it is defined as ‘sons of God’. Yet, I know there is more as I’ve had that clarified to me before.

TEN – Yom Kippur – Very Serious this year! Month One Day Ten

TEN – Door closed by God on Noach’s ark.

TEN – TEN day until Holy Spirit came once Yeshua Jesus left on Day 40 of His resurrection.

TEN – Letter Yud – Closed Hand of God – It’s a judging hand.

TEN – Read story of David wanting to kill Nabel. His bride Abrigale thwarts the killing of her terrible husband by future King David. TEN days later God’s vengeance took him out by melting his heart within him. Nabel would not feed David and his men for looking after his sheep for 30 days. David was the new King in the field and Nabel said he did not know who this son of Jessee was. Denying our future king leaves you dead.

TEN – Isaac dies ten years before Ya’cov will take all out to Egypt.
