David’s Comment: This Week’s Prayer Mission – Pray Protection from Terror

I am sure all of our readers are aware of the dramatic increrase in terror attacks in many parts of Israel. All hell  has broken out all over the country.  Terrorist leader Machmud Abbas has been inciting violence for weeks now, even at his speech at the UN earlier this month. This horrid old man utters nothing but outright lies about Israel, particularly with regard to Israel’s intention to take over the Temple Mount. Perhaps Abbas is being ‘prophetic’ without even recognising it, because that is exactly what Israel should have done since the Six Day War of 1967.  But sadly, at this point of time, the Israeli government has no intention whatsoever of doing so.  Abbas must know that to be the case, however he continues to incite young Muslim males to risk their lives, and the lives of innocent Israeli citizens, by engaging in acts of terror which are very possibly going to lead to yet another war between the Jewish people and the Muslim Arab nations.  And until now  there is very little condemnation from Western leaders and media.  UN leader Ban Ki Moon
is calling for a review of Israeli force against the terrorists – is he serious ?

I want to keep this comment short and simple, to be sure you understand the truth of the situation, assisting you to pray with focus and conviction that you are praying the will of the LORD   ……..

The Facts behind the renewed wave of Muslim terror engulfing Israel  …….  God’s Holy Land

The name of the God of the Bible is YHVH –  He is the God of Israel

YHVH has two addresses – The Holy of Holies, The Temple, Heaven,   and  The Holy of Holies, The Temple, Mount Moriah, Jerusalem, the undivided capital city of Israel

YHVH promised the land from the Nile to the Euphrates to Abraham and his descendants through Isaac  (including grafted in ones)  Gen 15:17-18

The Jewish people entered the Promised Land of Israel 3500 plus years ago

Jerusalem was the undivided capital city of Israel for almost 2000 years before the Romans destroyed it in 70 AD

Thats when the Romans changed the name from Israel to Palestina – derived from the name Philistine

To call God’s land ‘Palestine’ is an insult to YHVH and an absolute blasphemy

The existence of a Palestinian people is nothing but a 48 year old myth – a lie  

The Shocking Truth – Who are the Palestinians ?

Therefore the Muslim and International call for a Palestinian State on God’s chosen land is illegal

The restoration of Israel and the fulfillment of all the words of the prophets must be completed before Yeshua can be released from Heaven   Acts 3:21

ThE Jewish people’s 3500 year plus history of someone always wanting to destroy them is the Devil attempting to overthrow YHVH and sit as God in the Temple in Heaven and the Temple in Jerusalem  Isaiah 14:12   “How you are fallen from heaven,  O Lucifer, son of the morning !  How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations. You said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to heaven; above the stars of God,  I will set my throne on high; I will sit on the mount of assembly

Sadly the Muslim Arabs love violence and death more that they love life  –  they will never accept Israel (until they accept Yeshua)   so the only way to deal with them is to go to war with them and make them pay a very high price

While Israel extends a hand of peace, the Muslim Arabs extend a hand holding a gun or a knife

True peace with a sworn relentless enemy must be won by ALL the force necessary to gain the victory

Your prayer mission this week is to pray that Israel will be anointed with the ‘Joshua’ spirit

The Lord bless you as you bless Israel by standing in defense of her right to exist on the land given to the Jewish people by the God of Israel.  Lets pray that Israel will turn back to their God.  Do not be silent, but share this with your fellow Christians, share it with your pastors, and with anyone you have a chance to speak to. Lets also pray for that breakthrough to the Muslims,  and please remember to pray Divine protection for all of the soldiers in the IDF.

1.  Three Arabs Killed Attempting to Storm Gaza Fence    Arutz 7 News  Oct 9th

Three Palestinians rioters were killed and 17 wounded during clashes Friday near Gaza’s border, according to Gazan medical sources.  The clashes came as Hamas’s leader in Gaza hailed the recent terrorist violence against Israelis as an “intifada,”  and urged further attacks.  Ahmed al-Hirbawi, Shadi Dawla and Abed al-Wahidi, all aged 20, were killed when soldiers responded after youths threw rocks and other projectiles at them and attempted to break through the border.  An army spokeswoman said the incident was continuing, adding that about 200 Palestinians had approached the fence while hurling rocks and rolling burning tires toward security forces.  “Forces on the site responded with fire toward the main instigators to prevent their progress and disperse the riot,” she said.  The spokeswoman confirmed “five hits” without elaborating.  In a sermon for weekly Muslim prayers at a mosque in Gaza City, Hamas’s Gaza chief Ismail Haniyeh said “we are calling for the strengthening and increasing of the intifada.  Gaza will fulfill its role in the Jerusalem intifada and it is more than ready for confrontation.”  Lets pray that Haniyah gets his wish for another war,  and Israel pulverises Gaza again

2.  Terror Attacks Continue to Occur All Over the Country    Times of Israel  Oct 13th

Two separate attacks hit Jerusalem in a matter of minutes Tuesday morning, when two Arab men attempted to stab passengers on a bus before being shot and a car rammed into a group of people in the center of the capital.  One person was killed and another wounded as a driver rammed into a crowd on Malchei Israel Street in the Makor Baruch neighborhood in the center of the city. The attacker reportedly stepped out of the crashed vehicle and attempted to stab the wounded. He was subdued by police, but was not killed.  In a separate incident minutes earlier, two male passengers were killed ­ a 60-year-old who died at the scene, and a 45-year-old who died in the hospital ­ and three others suffered gunshot wounds in a combined shooting and stabbing attack on Egged bus 78 in the neighborhood of Armon Hanatziv in southern Jerusalem.   Two assailants were involved in the Armon Hanatziv attack, and were shot and subdued by police. One terrorist was said to have been killed, and the other was caught by police. Some 15 people were said to have been injured in the attack.

In Ra’anana, a man stabbed four people with a knife on Jerusalem Boulevard. One was in serious condition with stab wounds to the upper body. The three other victims were lightly injured.  The attacker was arrested.   The attacks follows just hours after another stabbing attack in Ra’anana, in which a man was lightly injured when stabbed while standing at a bus stop on the central Ahuza thoroughfare in the city.  The victim, 32, suffered light wounds to his upper body in the incident, a spokesperson for the Magen David Adom rescue service said.  The attacker was taken into custody with serious injuries after being beaten by passersby to stop the attack, police and MDA officials said.  Police confirmed he had not been shot.   Please pray for the injured and for the families of those who have been murdered in the 10 days of terror so far

3.  Israel’s Ambassador to UN: 11 Terror Attacks in 72  Hours  –  Zero UN Condemnations    INN News  Oct 11th

In what is Israel’s UN Ambassador Ron Prosor’s last act in his position, he implored the UN Security Council to issue condemnation over the wave of Arab terror that has swept Israel in recent days. “In 72 hours alone, 11 terror attacks have taken place in cities across Israel. Israelis are being attacked and murdered in the streets, in their vehicles, and even in their homes, and the UN stands by in silence,” he charged. Prosor laid the blame for the recent terror-murders at the doorstep of the Palestinian Authority and its chairman Mahmoud Abbas. “The escalation in terrorist attacks and killings is a result of the ongoing incitement to violence by the Palestinian leadership,” he asserted. “Palestinian officials continue to use inflammatory rhetoric and dangerous incitement, intensifying this wave of terror against Israeli citizens, and it must stop.” Prosor urged the UN’s Secretary General and the Security Council to “denounce these attacks in an unequivocal manner, and to speak out against the campaign of incitement and terror currently being waged against the people of Israel.” But, Prosor again appears to speaking to deaf ears at the UN where Israel will likely instead be denounced for defending itself against wanton, homicidal terrorists.  Lets pray that the God of Israel makes His displeasure known to the UN

4.  20 Gazans Break Through Fence into Israel     Jerusalem Post    Oct 12th

About 20 Palestinians broke through the fence dividing southern Gaza and Israel on Monday. IDF forces responded and closed in on them when they were a few feet from the fence. Simultaneously, forces tried to disperse a crowd which had gathered near the fence by firing live ammunition into the air and using tear gas.  In recent days, Palestinians have been gathering along the fence regularly. On Friday, six Palestinian youths were killed and another 60 wounded in IDF clashes near the border with Kibbutz Nahal Oz.
IDF Southern Command said that forces opened fire at the demonstrators when they approached the fence, and others tried to set part of it on fire by throwing hand grenades and Molotov cocktails. Army sources say demonstrators numbered at around 3,000.  On Saturday, two Gazan boys were killed by IDF fire near the security fence.  Earlier on Sunday, a 30-year-old pregnant woman and her small daughter were killed when the Israel Air Force struck what it said was a Hamas arms-production site in the northern Gaza Strip in response to the firing of a rocket at Ashkelon on Saturday. The bombing brought down their nearby house on top of the family, killing the two and injuring four other family members, including a 5-year-old boy.  “The IDF will not tolerate fire by terror groups onto the State of Israel’s territory and will continue to act stringently against every attempt to disturb the quiet on the southern communities,” the IDF Spokesman said Sunday. “The Hamas terror organization is the address and it is responsible.” Please pray that the Israel – Gaza border remains sealed

5.  Israelis Demand that PM Netanyahu Does More to Combat Terror    Israel Today News   Oct 11th

A survey conducted by Israel’s Channel 2 News at the weekend found that a firm majority of Israelis might no longer view Benjamin Netanyahu as the most capable prime minister when it comes to their personal safety.  Nearly three quarters (73%) of those polled said they were either “dissatisfied” or “very dissatisfied” with Netanyahu’s handling of the current wave of Palestinian terrorism targeting Israeli Jews.  When asked who was best suited to serve as prime minister during a time like this, 22 percent said former Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, 17 percent voted for Education Minister Naftali Bennett, and just 15 percent chose Netanyahu.  This is a serious blow to the prime minister, who won the last national election based primarily on his image as the best candidate to keep Israel safe. Over the weekend, Netanyahu released a statement explaining that he had ordered the mobilization of 16 additional Border Police companies to secure mixed Jewish-Arab cities across the country, and that his security cabinet would be discussing means of silencing the Muslims Brotherhood and its local branch, the Islamic Movement, which is inciting so much of the violence.  Please pray that PM Netanyahu heeds the demands of the people of Israel, rather that the US State Department

6.  Israeli Police Begin Restricting Access to East Jerusalem Neighborhoods    ICEJ News   Oct 14th

Israeli police, heavily reinforced in recent days and due to shortly receive hundreds of additional mobilized reservists and IDF combat troops, began on Wednesday to seal off access to predominantly Arab neighborhoods in eastern Jerusalem assessed to have a high potential for being the source of terrorist attacks. The measure, among others, was approved Wednesday morning at an emergency Security Cabinet meeting. The meeting occurred hours after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a speech in the Knesset plenum in which he declared that steps would soon be taken to teach terrorists and those who encourage them that “terror does not pay” and would also “restore quiet to Israel’s cities.” He added that Israel will settle its account with “murderers and those who want to kill, and anyone who helps them. Not only won’t they have any rights, but we will extract the full price from them.”  Please pray that this move will be succesful

 7.  Do Not Trust the Media    Israel Today   Oct 11th

The foreign media dealing with Israel has transformed from news reporting to malice.  Israeli Lev Solodkin is wondering how British people would have reacted if during WWII, newspapers had reported that “a 21-year-old German peace-loving pilot was killed by British security forces over Britian ” ?  This, however, is exactly the type of reports about Israel emerging from many respected media outlets.  UK newspaper The Independent is involved in such distorted journalism when it portrays the present stoning and knifing of Jews as legitimate “riots” and “clashes” carried out by peace-loving Palestinians. A recent issue of this newspaper reported that five Palestinians were killed and five Jews were stabbed. The headline and content of the report was every bit like that of an innocent Luftwaffe pilot flying aimlessly over Britain.

Though disguised as news, the Independent piece is a political manifest carefully crafted to create the impression of defenseless Palestinians killed during legitimate “protests” against murderous Israel. The paper’s reporter spared no effort to make sure this point was not missed. The Independent described the Palestinians involved as “boys.”  “A 19-year-old Palestinian boy stabbed three police officers” creates the desired impression of criminal Israel killing defenseless, under-aged youths. To legitimatize the Palestinian violence allegedly sparked by the Jewish presence on the Temple Mount, the Independent chose to replace the Jewish Temple Mount with the Muslim “Noble Sanctuary” to create the desired impression of who the real perpetrator is.

The New York Times didn’t fare much better. A headline fom Tuesday inserts doubts about news coming from Israeli officials, thus conditioning readers to trust reports coming from the NYT’.  For example, a headline concerning the killing of Eitam and Naama Henkin announces that “Israel says 5 from Hamas confess in Israeli couple’s killing.”  What “Israel says” is contrasted with what the NYT says, which is, “Israeli forces fatally shooting two Palestinian teenagers ­ one 13” who was “innocent and was shot in cold blood.” The report goes on to give the names of innocent dead Palestinian “kids,” while omitting names of Israelis killed by such innocent “kids.”  No-one but a villain could say the aforementioned reports are even worth the ink used for their printing.  Lets pray that the media learns how to report the news rather than take side and be judge & jury

8.  Abbas Changes Tune After Israel Releases Photos of ‘Executed’ 13 Year Old Alive in Hospital    Israel News    Oct 15th

PA leader, terrorist and ace liar Machmud Abbas has been forced to retract his accusation that Israel executed a 13 year old Arab terrorist after Israel released footage of the boot alive and being treated in an Israeli hospital.   Please pray that the world will wake up to the fact that Abbas is a professional liar
