What is a Fence

The Jews knew the Pharisees put fences up to protect them from the worst thing of all…..breaking a commandment.

This is what happened to Eve.

She was formulated from Adam rib.  She would be the one to surround him and lift him up.  He would depend upon her to watch from the four corners of the earth for his well being…she was his helpmate.

Where did it go wrong.  Was she deceived?  What deceived her? What did she think death meant…she had never seen death and she didn’t know about a spiritual death.  Did she know that she had a human body and also a spirit that lived after death?  These questions play into the fence that she built.

Genesis 2:15 “ADONAI, God, took the person and put him in the garden of ‘Eden to cultivate and care for it. 16. ADONAI, God, gave the person this order:  “You may freely eat from every tree in the garden 17. except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.  You are not to eat from it, because on that day that you eat from it, it will become certain that you will die.”

It doesn’t look like Eve is around as in Gen 21 we see Adam being put into a deep sleep and Eve is created from his bone. This bone was wrapped in flesh and presented to Adam.

Genesis 3 starts with the serpent being more crafty than any wild animal which God had made.  The serpent said, “Did Hod really say, “You are not to eat from any tree in the garden?”  The woman answered the serpent, “We may eat from the fruit of the trees of the garden, but about the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden God said, ‘You are neither to eat from it nor touch it, or you will die.”

TOUCH

Here Eve added a fence….nor ‘touch’ it…..

I want to note that the serpent started with Eve in what a horrible god she had in that she could not eat ANYTHING in that particular garden.  She had felt safe with God but now she was dealing with this temptation of not trusting God.

She knew part of what Satan said was not true because they could eat of everything but this certain tree sat in the “middle” of the garden.

YOU WILL NOT DIE

The serpent contradicts God, his own creator, by challenging Eve with, “It is not true that you will surely die;”

She is shocked but continues to listen.  “because God knows that on the day you eat from it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

First will come the touch….  The fence she had built to guard her from eating it.  Her first touch will not prove fatal in physical death.  She didn’t die….  It was a ‘truth’ to her that she didn’t feel any different.  She didn’t die…the serpent was right.  She also didn’t feel anything different with her eyes…the serpent was right.

DEATH DIDN’T MAKE SENSE

Now the next step.  Sin always begins with the eyes and temptation.  She should have fled but she was embraced with the ‘pride’ of ‘being’ as God.  She didn’t need to be above Him, but she wanted to be ‘like’ Him….in every way.  She wanted to understand what He understood.  She would do it…she would eat it….  the death thing didn’t make sense  to her.  What is this good and evil thing anyway.  I can handle it…I’m I’m I’m… temptation has struck a serious blow and she is ready to walk…walk away….  Satan has stretched her imagination, not just for the fruit….but for what is this good and evil knowledge?  It sounds like something Adam and I should know about

THE BITE

Gen 3:6.  Adam was with her.  He could have stopped her.  He saw that touching it did nothing.  Adam saw that her bite did not kill her.  He loved God and also wanted to be more like Him.  May Adam would understand the ways of God better if her partook of this feast that came from this very special tree.    God had not refused them anything….they even ate from what was called, The Tree of Life.  It was incredible how young they always stayed.

Now, things would change because a fence that they had been built proved not too serious.  Neither Eve nor Adam felt anything different from touching it.  They had forgotten that they had made their own fence around this tree.

Next came the bite by Eve and then Adam.  It was incredible deliciously just as all of Gods fruit garden was delicious.

IN-SIGHT CHANGED

The only thing that was different is that their eyes DID change.  They noticed that it was embarrassing to be around God  being naked.  They felt that His eyes would not see right through their deceit. Sin was missing the mark with God.  God had set a standard and they intentionally failed that standard.   They tied some leaves around them but God knew it would take the life of a living thing to cover this sin.  They had deliberately forsaken God’s Torah (instruction).  It as ‘intentional’ sin.   They thought they would be above God’s instruction once they could be ‘like’ God.  It proved wrong and this trait of ‘free will’ was allowed in each of their children.  They had been bad examples and now they felt the pride of man coming out in their own children.  But….they took courage because God promised them a Seed that would change what happened.  It was the Seed of Salvation….His name would actually mean salvation.  They would call him, Yeshua…

Men added fences so high and it was necessary to send the human Word that could speak to these children.  Jesus came complaining about these fences (washing of hands, dishes, not plucking grain on the Sabbath, etc.)  These are a few of the fences that Yeshua threw out and confirmed even firmer the ones Adonai had put in place.

Their fences would imprison the people at the festivals.  Those craftier than any wild creature would take advantage of the people pf whom needed to buy their items needed for making a sacrifice to Adonai.  They came long distances and it was better to buy local products for the festival.  The crafty traders would sell them items at outlandish prices and perhaps the animal did have defects.  The system that was simple had gotten complicated and out of hand and became distasteful in God’s eyes.  It was no longer about the ‘heart’ but about a ‘duty’ to perform.

NIMROD

TODAY –  It does become a chore to get kids out the door and into Sunday School classes.  The fences are no longer high because when  Jesus came to remove some of the fencing….the people decided to remove it all.  In fact, they allowed a Holocaust to happen because they still saw no need for the teachings, of those Jews…that killed “our Jesus.”  This attitude is prevalent today in a society that has taken away God’s instructions (torah).  It’s been confused because the fence removal didn’t seem to cause too many problems.  They went according to the Gentiles and participated in their traditions, which began back with Nimrod….  Christmas.  After all, it was about Christ.  Then in 325 AD the final stake was driven with NO more Passover or Seder and it would Ester on always on a Sunday.  Out with the Sabbath….that Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Yeshua, Apostle Paul, celebrated.

INVISIBLE FENCE

The FENCE is gone…..the Torah was God’s instructions (a Tudor) that shows man how to live safely on the earth.  Yeshua (Jesus) came to endorse it, but men still threw it out as it did not fit this new religion of the earth.  You had to take all or none of Judaism and the Jews were still trying to make circumcision a fence to climb.  Paul argued that it was not a fence to be climbed and not necessary for salvation.  Men hate arguing and killings and just said NO to any fence.  Zero fence lines from here on out.

Today, we have 38,000 religions……

Which one do you want?  The one with NO fences is what men pick.

Men today do what is right in their own eyes!  Just as it was in the Days of Noah.  Men did not want any fences.

This is not about being a Jew.  It is not about following a Hebrew Roots movement or Messianic group.  This is about men not following God’s instruction manual.  Men today are single minded and it is about The Blood of Jesus.  This single-mindedness has left the Church empty.  Yeshua walked around for forty more days and nights after his resurrection…what was He preaching?  How to LIVE by God’s Torah.

He came to save men by His blood as Torah points to and He came to endorse it’s power.  It is the way of life.  Revelation 22:12 “Pay attention (says Yeshua,)  I am coming soon, and my rewards are with me to give to each person according to what he has done.  I am the Aleph and the Tav, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.  How blessed are who wash their robes, so that they have the right to eat from the Tree of Life and go through the gates into the city!”

Eve lost the rights to the ‘Tree of Life.’  In the beginning of Creation God explains this tree and in the end He speaks of it again.

Eve put up her fence of not ‘touching’ the apple.  Men today remove all fencing to install what is called, INVISIBLE fencing.

Men don’t know it’s there until one day they will be SHOCKED to find it is still there.

The fences are totally gone.  God says all throughout the bible that whoever adds to (builds fences) or takes away (destroys) will have consequence.

Gen 2:18 God says that it is NOT good for a person to be alone.  God desires fellowship with you.  God is the Gardner:  “So from the ground, Adonai, God, formed every wild animal and ever bird that flies in the air.

Why did Eve put up a fence?

Did she not understand what death meant?  It is not sin my friends…it is the curse of sin that we should fear.  The curse of sin is the separation from God.

Now, if you don’t care about God….then this verse is for you.

“Revelations 22:11  “Whoever keeps acting wickedly, let him go on acting wickedly; whoever is fifty, let him go on being filthy. “Also, whoever is righteous, let him go on doing what is righteous; and whoever is holy, let him go on being made holy,”

Yes, Jesus blood cleanses us from the curse of sin, but it is the Torah in which we are to then live and it sets us apart to being like God.  Be holy because I am holy he says. Be set apart… It is the Torah that sets men apart.

Revelations 22:18 I warn everyone hearing the words of the prophecy of this book that if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues written in this book.  And if anyone takes anything away from the words in the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the Tree of Life and the holy city, as described in this book.”

As Creation week comes to a close tonight…Tishrei 1 begin..  It’s the Feast of Trumpets….a 2-day long feast that GOD set up to look for the sliver of the New Moon to begin the New Year.  I’m going to write about that next….

Creation Week in Shemittah 2015….The fences of men are being torn down….  What are your thoughts on God covering the Middle East with an ‘unprecedented’ dust storm that kills twelve over a three day period.  It was from Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Israel, Jordan, Cyprus (Turkey) and more.   Yes…on Elul 25 God looked down at what He allowed and took away the void…On Creation Day 1.  By Creation Day, before the Sabbath, God allowed the 23 billion Mecca expansion to come to a halt by dropping a crane on it.  I’m sorry 100+ people lost their lives with many injured.  But on what was considered the last day of financial ruin to fall, Friday 9.11, God hit the financial mecca of the world, Saudi Arabia.  Every prince has tower reaching into the skies showing his power on the earth.  God struck at the same time an earthquake hit just outside Dubai in Iran.  More on this, but it is these fences that are built against IsraEL that God is responding to.

Hating God’s children brings the wrath of God.  He will unwind the earth just as he established it.  The Middle East Sand Storms lead to Mecca destruction all in the Week of Creation.

All over the world people are meeting to blow their shofars to call Messiah to come and reign.  I hear the shofar of Eve calling…..

Eve must be heard…..  She cries to her children….  “Stop building fences and put back the ones God established to keep you safe!”
