Lunar Eclipse Sept 16 2016 Erev Sabbath ‘when you go forth’

Isaiah 54:5   For your husband is your Maker, Adonai-Tzva’ot is his name. The Holy One of Isra’el is your Redeemer. He will be called the God of all the earth.

The eclipses are ordained by God from the foundation of the  world.

The September 16, 2016 penumbral lunar eclipse was not seen by many people because the moon only catches the outside shadow of the earth…thus the name penumbral.  The United States was not included in it’s path.

On my calendar it also shows September 1 2016 as National POW / MIA Recognition Day.  Prisoners of War and Missing in Action.  These people were also hidden from us.  God is very intentional, my friends.

The Hebrew month is Elul.  It is the time that Mosche is up on the mountain with ADONAI requesting atonement for the Israelites after their sin of the worship of the ‘Golden Calf’ in the month of Tammuz.

Our world in 2016 has been through ‘The Dire Straits.  This time period has been found so terrible in Israel’s history that still today they don’t even date or marry during that six-week period known as ‘The Dire Straits.’  Tammuz 17 – Av 9….when both world wars began and The Temple was lost twice.

Now we are in the month that is known as, The King is in the Field.  Instructions are being given on how to live long on the earth.  The future king is trying to get to know his sheep and goes out into the pasture to hear their needs.  He is considered as coming close and hearing their requests.

We see this same pattern as politicians meet with the people before the elections in November.  It’s a pattern set by God…and men don’t even realize it…the Hebraic root.

This report will be part of the Eclipsing Earthquake Project of which I’ve finished the eclipses in 2011.   We are finding more than I expected and that is always the way it is with God….you always get more than expected….when seeking His face.

This eclipse, occurring as I type, is linked to the Torah study known as Ki Tetze (When you go forth).  I will type directly to you as I see it, but hope that you read the Scriptures so you see their depth.

Ki Tetze “When you go forth”.  Deuteronomy 21:10-25:19; Isaiah 54:1:10.  More readings: Mattityahu 5:31-32; 19:3-12; 22:23-32; Mark 10:2-12; 12:18-27; Luke 20:27-38; I Cor 9:4-18; Galatians 3:9-14; 1 Timothy 5:17-18.

Deut 21:10 – 25:19

The Torah study is named after the first few words of the Scriptures.

When you go out to war against your enemies, and ADONAI your God hands them over to you,…”

Verses 10 – 14

After a war, if a man finds a woman attractive to him and he wants her as a wife she is to shave her head, cut her fingernails and remove her prison clothing.  (She is removing any pride that could be in her.)  She is taken into the man’s home to mourn her mother and father and is not to be touched sexually for thirty days.  She is not to be sold for money or treated as a slave, if the man loses interest in her, because he has humiliated her.

Verese 15 – 17

Discusses the rights of the firstborn out of your loins…this son receives a double portion of everything the father owns.

Verse 18 – 21 – Stoning of a wicked son who rebels against parents…sets example for community.

Verse 22 – 23 – How not to curse the land God gave you…

If someone has committed a capital crime and is put to death….then hung a tree for display…He must be taken down and buried the same day…”because a person who has been hanged has been cursed by God – so that you will not defile your land, which ADONAI your God is giving you to inherit.”

(An example of this is when we see Esther have Haman killed and his ten sons killed, and then she had them hanged up on display in the city for many days.  They were cursed and remain cursed by God.  Just dying by hanging on a tree does not make you a cursed man…it is being left on that tree.  Yeshua Jesus was taken down before dusk…he was NOT a ‘cursed’ man. He bore the penalty of our sin which the curse was death (spiritual death.)

Chapter 22:1-4

If anything of your brothers strays you must bring it to your home and take care of it until he is ready to retrieve it.  You must help your brother find what he loses.

22:5 “A woman is not to wear men’s clothing, and a man is not to put on women’s clothing, for whoever does these things is detestable to ADONAI your God.”

This speaks to our very day…where even bathrooms are now shared.

22:6-7   Do not take chicks when the mother hen is looking and do not take the mother bird.

22:8  Build a low wall around your roof so no one falls off.  (deck)

22:9-11   You don’t sow with two kinds of seeds together, not plow with two different types of animals (ox and donkey) and don’t wear clothing of two kinds of thread, wool and linen together.

22:12 “You are to make for yourself twisted cords on the four corners of the garment you wrap around yourself.”

22:13  A man must stay married to a woman he has defamed.

22:20 A woman not a virgin when she is married is a prostitute in her father’s house..the men of the town will stone her to that sin of wickedness stops among you.

22:21 “If a man found sleeping with a woman who has a husband, both of them must die — the man who went to bed with the woman and the woman, too.  In this way you will expel such wickedness from Isra’el.”

22:23-24  If a virgin is engaged to a man and has sexual relations with another man without crying out, both the man humiliating his neighbor’s wife and the wife are stoned at the city gate…to end such wickedness among you.

22:25-27   But, if this happens in the country side where the engaged virgin’s cries are not heard, then only the man is to die.

22:28-29  “If a man comes upon a girl who is a virgin but who is not engaged, and he grabs her and has sexual relations with her, and they are caught in the act, then the man who had intercourse with her must give to the girl’s father one-and-a-quarter pounds of silver shekels, and she will become his wife, because he humiliated her, he may not divorce her as long as he lives.”

Chapter 23:1 “A man is not to take his father’s wife, thus violating his father’s rights.”

23:2 “A man with crushed or damaged private parts may not enter the assembly of ADONAI.”

23:3 “A manzer may not enter the assembly of ADONAI, nor may his descendants down to the tenth generation enter the assembly of ADONAI.”

Definition of manzer: “technically, the offspring of a sexual relationship between persons forbidden by the Torah to marry each other (e.g., uncle and nieces), but usually translated ‘bastard.”

Abraham’s nephew Lot daughter’s children:

23:3 No Amoni or Mo’avi down to the tenth generation can enter the assembly of ADONAI because they did not supply you with food and water when leaving Egypt AND they hired Bil’am the son of B’or from P’tor in Aram-Naharayim to put a curse on you.  You are to never seek their peace or well being as long as you live…  I put a blessing on you!

23:8-9 The third generation of children born to the Edomites and Egyptians may enter the assembly of ADONAI because they helped you in Egypt and Edom (Esau) is your brother.

23:10- 15  When you are at war, and and at camp, any nocturnal emission is to be taken outside the camp, bathed and brought in after sunset.  A trowel is to be used to dig a hole outside the camp so excrement is covered as the camp must be a holy (set-apart) place not seeing anything indecent among you.

23:16-17  If a slaves escapes his master and takes refuge with you, don’t return him but place him where he fits best in your settlements; don’t mistreat him.

23:18  “No woman of Israel is to engage in ritual prostitution, and no man of Israel is to engage in ritual homosexual prostitution.”

23:19   Nothing earned through heterosexual or homosexual prostitution is to be brought into the house of ADONAI your God in fulfillment of any vow, for both of these are abhorrent to ADONAI your God.”

23:22-24  If you speak a vow aloud to ADONAI then you must not delay in fulfilling it or it is sin for you.  It is NOT sin to NOT make a vow..only to not fulfill it quickly.

23:25  You can eat from your neighbors crops only what you can pick with your hand; you can not put his crop in your basket.

Chapter 24:1-4 – If a man divorces his wife and she marries another man and has sexual relations with him, she may not go back to the first husband as she is now defiled.

24:5  A man is not subject to military service if he is recently married.  He should remain at home with his new wife for one year.

24:6  A man may not put up for collateral for a loan that which earns him money, such as a mill.

24:7  If a man kidnaps his brother, he may not make him a slave or sell him; the kidnapper must die.

24:8-9  When there is an outbreak of tzara’at do what the priests tell you.

24:9-13  If you lend money to your neighbor he must bring you his collateral outside to you;  you do NOT go inside his home.  If he is poor you must return he pledged item by sunset so he can sleep in his garment…known as ‘an upright deed.’

24:14  You are not to exploit a hired worker, your brother or foreigner living in your land in your town.

24:15  You are to pay him wages the day he earns them, before sunset; for he is poor and looks forward to being paid…or it is your sin if he cries out to  ADONAI.

24:16  A father nor child is executed for each others sins. Every person is executed for his own sin.

24:17-18  You were once a slave in Egypt, therefore, you are not to deprive the foreigner or orphan of the justice they are due.  You are not to take a widow’s clothing as collateral for a loan.

24:19-22  When harvesting anything, if you forget some of it…leave it for the orphan and foreigner…remembering you were once a slave in Egypt.

Chapter 25:1-3  If a dispute goes to court and favors the righteous one, the wicked on is punished proportionate to the crime before the righteous ones eyes, but never more than forty floggings or else he will be humiliated before your eyes.

25:4 You are not to muzzle an ox while is treading out the grain.

The Family of the man of whom had his sandal pulled off.’

25:5-10   If brothers live together and the one who had the wife dies and the other brother does not want to marry his wife in order to keep his brother’s name from being eliminated from Israel, she is to complain to the leaders.  If he still does not want to marry her, then she will approach him in the presence of the leaders, pull his sandal off his foot, spit in his face and say, “This is what is done to the man who refuses to build up his brother’s family.”  From that time on, his family is to be known in Israel as ‘the family of the man who had his sandal pulled off.

25:11-12  A woman’s hand will be cut off if she touches the private parts of her husband’s attacker.

25:13-16  You are only to have equal weights of measure in your life…dishonesty is detestable to God.

25:17  Israel is to remember to blot out Amalek as Amalek attacked Israel from the rear those who were exhausted and straggling behind when you were weary and tired on the road coming out of Egypt.  Amalek should have no memory on the earth as you will have the inheritance.

Did you make it to the end with me.  What great instructions to keep us safe on the earth.  So many of these things affect us today.  These family issues are what destroys a nation.  Do we live in a different era?  Not really.  We can take these same principles and use them.  A tooth for a tooth means equal measure…  You don’t pull someone’s teeth out because they caused yours to fall out….it’s equal measure in all things…

Next, we’ll look at Isaiah 54:1-10. (CJB)

God is speaking to Israel….His church. Israel will feel deserted by the world, but she will bear more children as God sees to His ways going out onto the earth through them. verse 1

We see Moses’ Wilderness Tabernacle is to be enlarged…not held back…but lengthened.  Israel is God’s prince through whom God will rule nations with His instructions (torah).  Grace is pictured as a ‘tent’….look at verse 21.  It is God’s Torah that stretches out to the nations and consume desolated cities.

Verse 4 – This too shall pass and The People of the Book will bring correction instruction to the earth and they will forget how the world treated them in their many holocausts.

Verse 5  Adonai-Tzva’ot (Lord of HOSTS) is the Holy One of Israel and called God of all the earth…..oh praises to Him that moves all the stars, sun, moon, all creation to His glory.

Verse 6 – A first love is always accepted back even though we just learned that a woman can not return to her original husband if she was defiled with another man after being divorced from her first husband.  This shows our Creator’s adopting us.  We defile ourselves with other gods of this world, and yet He first loved us and adopted us to be His and so we can return to Him.

Isaiah 54:1 “Sing, barren woman who has never had a child! Burst into song, shout for joy, you who have never been in labor! For the deserted wife will have more children than the woman who is living with her husband,” says Adonai.

Isaiah 54:2 Enlarge the space for your tent, extend the curtains of your dwelling; do not hold back, lengthen your cords, make your tent pegs firm.

Isaiah 54:3  For you will spread out to the right and the left, your descendants will possess the nations and inhabit the desolated cities.

Isaiah 54:4 Don’t be afraid, for you won’t be ashamed; don’t be discouraged, for you won’t be disgraced. You will forget the shame of your youth, no longer remember the dishonor of being widowed.

Isaiah 54:5 For your husband is your Maker, Adonai-Tzva’ot is his name. The Holy One of Isra’el is your Redeemer. He will be called the God of all the earth.

Isaiah 54:6 For Adonai has called you back like a wife abandoned and grief-stricken; “A wife married in her youth cannot be rejected,” says your God.

Isaiah 54:7 “Briefly I abandoned you, but with great compassion I am taking you back.

Isaiah 54:8 I was angry for a moment and hid my face from you; but with everlasting grace I will have compassion on you,” says Adonai your Redeemer.

Isaiah 54:9  “For me this is like Noach’s flood. Just as I swore that no flood like Noach’s would ever again cover the earth, so now I swear that never again will I be angry with you or rebuke you.

Isaiah 54:10  For the mountains may leave and the hills be removed, but my grace will never leave you, and my covenant of peace will not be removed,” says Adonai, who has compassion on you.

Noach’s flood had it’s cycle over the earth showing The Lord’s Feasts.  The goal is to be courted again and reunited at the Wedding Banquet.  God’s Tabernacle of grace will always cover us and His peace is on us because of His compassion for Israel and us who choose to share this ONE husband.

Beautiful verses to reinforce this week’s Torah portion in Deuteronomy 21:10-25:19.  Ki Tetze “When you go forth.”

The eclipse went forth showing his name in Verse 5, “Adonai-Tzva’ot (Lord of HOSTS) is the Holy One of Israel and called God of all the earth.”

This is where he speaks to us…  This is where we belong….in His safe keeping…in His Living Word of whom is Yeshua Jesus and also in His instructions known as, Torah.  The entire Bible is His instruction to us…it all references the first five books..known as, The Torah.
