Eid al-Adha Muslim ‘Feast Sacrifice’ ends Fast of AV 9, 2020

Many Muslims in the United States observe Eid-al-Adha, also known as the Feast of Sacrifice, each year. This festival commemorates Ibrahim’s (Abraham) willingness to sacrifice his son to God. This festival also marks the end of the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca.  July 31, 2020.

Wow!!!!  July 31 is Av 10.  This Muslim Eid al-Adha / Feast of Sacrifice occurs the day after The Fast of Av 9 on the Hebrew calendar.  Tisha B’Av is when we should fast and mourn with those that fast and mourn.  Israel is our brother.  Israel is not to be ‘sacrificed’.   The Messiach’s blood atonement was that ‘final’ sacrifice for all of us.  Let us turn these days into celebrations…not murder!
