There is But ONE God

Why is it that we don’t understand, “I am the Lord thy God and I shall have NO false gods before me~   much less don’t even think I’ll be that false god for you!

If you want to know God you’ll take the time to meditate on these scriptures.

(Deu 6:4 CJB) “Sh’ma, Yisra’el! Adonai Eloheinu, Adonai echad [Hear, Isra’el! Adonai our God, Adonai is one];

(Deu 6:5 CJB) and you are to love Adonai your God with all your heart, all your being and all your resources.

(Deu 6:6 CJB) These words, which I am ordering you today, are to be on your heart;

(Deu 6:7 CJB) and you are to teach them carefully to your children. You are to talk about them when you sit at home, when you are traveling on the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

(Deu 6:8 CJB) Tie them on your hand as a sign, put them at the front of a headband around your forehead,

(Deu 6:9 CJB) and write them on the door-frames of your house and on your gates.

(Mar 12:28 CJB) One of the Torah-teachers came up and heard them engaged in this discussion. Seeing that Yeshua answered them well, he asked him, “Which is the most important mitzvah of them all?”

(Isa 45:2 CJB) “I will go ahead of you, leveling the hills, shattering the bronze gates, smashing the iron bars.

(Isa 45:3 CJB) I will give you treasures hoarded in the dark, secret riches hidden away, so that you will know that I, Adonai, calling you by your name, am the God of Isra’el.

(Isa 45:4 CJB) It is for the sake of Ya`akov my servant, yes, for Isra’el my elect, that I call you by your name and give you a title, although you don’t know me.

(Isa 45:5 CJB) I am Adonai; there is no other; besides me there is no God. I am arming you, although you don’t know me,

(Isa 45:6 CJB) so that those from the east and those from the west will know that there is none besides me — I am Adonai; there is no other.

(Isa 45:21 CJB) Let them stand and present their case! Indeed, let them take counsel together. Who foretold this long ago, announced it in times gone by? Wasn’t it I, Adonai? There is no other God besides me, a just God and a Savior; there is none besides me.

(Isa 45:22 CJB) Look to me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God; there is no other.

(Isa 45:23 CJB) In the name of myself I have sworn, from my mouth has rightly gone out, a word that will not return — that to me every knee will bow and every tongue will swear

(Isa 46:8 CJB) Remember this, and stand firm. Keep it in mind, you rebels.

(Isa 46:9 CJB) “Remember things that happened at the beginning, long ago — that I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me.

(1Co 8:4 CJB) So, as for eating food sacrificed to idols, we “know” that, as you say, “An idol has no real existence in the world, and there is only one God.”

(1Co 8:5 CJB) For even if there are so-called “gods,” either in heaven or on earth — as in fact there are “gods” and “lords” galore —

(Eph 4:5 CJB) And there is one Lord, one trust, one immersion,

(Eph 4:6 CJB) and one God, the Father of all, who rules over all, works through all and is in all.

(1Ti 2:5 CJB) For God is one; and there is but one Mediator between God and humanity, Yeshua the Messiah, himself human,

(Jas 2:19 CJB) You believe that “God is one”? Good for you! The demons believe it too — the thought makes them shudder with fear!

(Rev 4:2 CJB) Instantly I was in the Spirit, and there before me in heaven stood a throne, and on the throne Someone was sitting.

(Rev 4:3 CJB) The One sitting there gleamed like diamonds and rubies, and a rainbow shining like emerald encircled the throne.

Today men mock God.  They have taken His rainbow of promise and made it their ‘rainbow of promise’ to each other.  Men do not want to know there is ONE God.  They want their road to God to have many paths…not a narrow path….but many wide paths.  They want God to a god of ALL religions.

Just a few years ago the saying was, “Just, say No!”  Today it’s, “Yes, we can!”

Rom 1:28 In other words, since they have not considered God worth knowing, God has given them up to worthless ways of thinking; so that they do improper things.

Rom 1:22 Claiming to be wise, they have become fools!

Rom 1:23 In fact, they have exchanged the glory of the immortal God for mere images, like a mortal human being, or like birds, animals or reptiles!

(Buddha statues, black lava stone, praying to saints, horoscopes, i-pads, and even children take precedence over knowing God.)
Rom 1:24 This is why God has given them up to the vileness of their hearts’ lusts, to the shameful misuse of each other’s bodies.
Rom 1:25 They have exchanged the truth of God for falsehood, by worshiping and serving created things, rather than the Creator — praised be he for ever. Amen.
Rom 1:26 This is why God has given them up to degrading passions; so that their women exchange natural sexual relations for unnatural;
Rom 1:27 and likewise the men, giving up natural relations with the opposite sex, burn with passion for one another, men committing shameful acts with other men and receiving in their own persons the penalty appropriate to their perversion.
